“Centre of excellence for the development of full student potential for the benefit of Sri Lanka and the rest of the World”, the Sri Lanka Technological Campus (Pvt) Ltd, (SLTC) was inaugurated in the year 2015 as a fully owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC. It is the first corporate powered, research-based, fully residential Engineering campus in the country.

Career Ready Undergraduates SLTC offers its students the following range of Engineering and Technology degree programs which are recognised by the University Grants Commission and accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Highways. The curricula of all courses are designed by a panel of renowned industry experts with exceptional academic credentials. Our BSc Engineering (Honors) Degree Programmes include Electronics and Power Systems, a programme, rich in engineering science, physics and Math courses, prepare students for employment as electrical or electronic Engineers. Candidates can specialize in several areas of electronics, signal processing, computing, robotics, and electrical power systems. Electronics and Telecommunication that teaches students how to apply electronics technology to design, test and troubleshoot advanced devices and systems. It trains students in basic electrical theory and hands on applications, subsequently moving on to increasingly complex electronic and telecommunication systems.
Electronics and Engineering Management include course and laboratory sessions in electronics engineering as well as ďŹ nance, accounting and business management. The electronic engineering coursework will encompass the important themes from electronic engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) programme combines modern and future telecommunication technologies with Computer Science. Computing has become, and will be, an essential component in future telecommunication industry and we speciďŹ cally tailor-made this programme to address that need. Our Technology Degree Programmes (BTech Honors) includes an Electronics programme that gives hands on experience in Electronics. Another in Process Automation and Control prepares our students for industrial automation tasks. We are recognized by world’s leading universities such as Lancaster University, UK, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), and Texas Tech University in USA, Trinity College Dublin in Ireland, and Deakin University in Australia, as academic and research partners.

Bringing Home The Best of The World World Recognized 2+2 Programmes We offer 2+2 programmes for engineering degree programmes where students could complete the initial two years at SLTC enrolled in any of the following degree programs and complete the next two years at Lancaster University UK or Deakin University, Australia. These partnerships would enable Sri Lankan students to obtain international level education at an affordable cost.

Lancaster University, UK. Lancaster University is ranked in the top 1% of universities in the world, according to the QS World University Rankings, and it is also ranked in the top ten of universities in the UK in the Guardian League table. Students can enroll in the above degree programs at SLTC and after two years they can transfer to the Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic & Electrical Engineering (BEng) degree program at the Lancaster University where they spent two more years and get a Lancaster BEng certiďŹ cate.
Deakin University, Australia. Deakin University is a public university with approximately 50,644 higher education students in 2014 and is considered be one of Australia's fastest growing research universities. Students can enroll in any of the above eligible degree programs at SLTC and after two years they can transfer to either Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours) degree program at the Deakin University where they spent two more years and get a Deakin certiďŹ cate.
Our International Research Partnerships are the foremost for your advancement. Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. TCD is, arguably, one of the highest ranked universities to engage with a Sri Lankan institute. They are ranked 78 in the QS World rankings. SLTC has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding in order to collaborate on skills in teaching and research.
Texas Tech University, USA. Texas Tech University is a public institution that was founded in 1923. It holds a ranking of 168 in the 2016 edition of Best Colleges is National Universities. Texas Tech University also stands on the cusp of being one of the nation’s premier research institutions and was recently named a Sustaining Member by the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), which is the highest level of institutional membership and is available to a limited number of institutions. The signiďŹ cant partnership would in the future enable in exploiting the opportunities towards initiating activities such as student and staff exchange programmes.
Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. SLTC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate further with the Georgia Institute of Technology. The University has a world ranking of 19 in the Engineering Discipline according to the QS World Ranking guide. The Georgia Institute of Technology (commonly referred to as Georgia Tech, Tech, or GT) is a public research university in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. This collaboration would also enable SLTC to strengthen the Academic arena as well as Research and Innovation Unit further.

Academic Expertise together with Industrial Knowhow Our aim at SLTC is to produce academically sound graduates who can also create value for any organisation. In order to achieve that, they are taught according to a syllabus designed to provide sound theoretical, practical and analytical knowledge based on the fundamentals of Engineering and Technology and are trained in their practical application. Our courses are developed and conducted by industry experts with a thorough understanding of what's expected of SLTC graduates once they enter the workforce. Student Services
The campus and Students’ Interactive Society provides specialist information, advice and guidance on academic and non-academic issues to complement the support on offer. We can help you solve problems you may face as a student, including academic, accommodation, welfare, finances, consumer and employment issues. Students are able to access the service via email, phone, or face-to-face at our on-campus advice centre.
