YOUR Guide to SUARTS Elections 2012

intro

What is going on?

How do I vote?

These are the student elections, where you get to decide who you want to represent you over the next year. Every student is able to vote.

Between 2 March and 8 March, you will be able to login to www.suarts.org and vote. There will be a number of polling booths touring the colleges, so look out for these too. We use preferential voting – so you get to choose who your favourite candidate is (put a 1 next to them), your second favourite (put a 2 next to them), all the way down the list until you don’t want to vote for any of the people left in that election, or there are no more candidates.

Candidates from across the University have put themselves forward for these positions. This book tells you a bit more about them and what their ideas are.
