PROMOTION & PROJECTION
Some strategies to consider in the promotion of my brand would include collaboration, inapp promotion both free and paid, and approaching brands directly. Collaboration: one way to gain traction on social media is to collaborate with other content creators on that platform. This can result in a shared consumer base which acts as mutually beneficial for both parties, similarly to a brand deal or paid advert. There are two options for collaboration, the first is to collaborate with a content creator who has the same target audience, this is a sure way to gain a following. The second is to collaborate with someone who maybe has a different target market but shares the same or similar core values. This will expose your brand to a whole new target audience and allow for a potential expansion of your niche into other markets, potentially even causing a viral response from consumers.

In-app promotion: this can be through posting recent or old posts to stories at a time when your live following count is high to gain traction on a specific post and boost its performance, or it could be through the paid promotion service that Instagram offers, the higher payment you make, the more Instagram as an app will push your post.
Finally, approaching brands directly in terms of enquiring about brand deals, sponsored videos and paid advert space, is something that can ensure your brand gains the right kind of support. What I mean by this is if you reach out to brands you can target the ones you actually want to work with or for, meaning you can avoid deals with brands that don’t quite fit your core values or aesthetic. This will mean that your content will be more authentic and therefore create a more genuine and loyal bond with your consumer. These are all valid projections I wish to explore post-hand-in. I have also considered the future of influencer Kit; this includes exploring collaborations with brands both fashion and makeup related. As well as this a projection for my brand could be the development of a makeup or fashion line, with a focus on genderless, escapism, self-expression, sustainability and affordability.
