Thanks to the efforts of the Friends of the Manchester Library group, we’re in the process of expanding the Library! When the branch reopens, it will include a new reading space for adults, kids area, teen space, enlarged meeting space and new shelving, paint and carpeting. During the closure the book drop and seed library will remain open and all holds will be available for pick up at the Port Orchard branch. We can’t wait to reopen!
Construction at Sylvan Way Pardon our dust! We’re in the process of making some long-awaited critical updates to our Sylvan Way branch. We’ll be installing new heating, ventilation and air conditioning automation controls for improved efficiency, replacing the aged, leaking roof with a PVC style roofing system and replacing skylights and the main electrical switchgear. We look forward to fully serving our community for the duration of this construction with only one short two-day closure anticipated for late summer or early fall.
