Public Space Our aim is to create a very vibrant urban space, inviting a great variety of users. Regarding this we have to take care about a pleasant design and social issues regarding safety and accessibility. Accesibility Since the building should be used by everyone, accessibility is a key issue on this floor. Our vertical building is difficult in this regards. Therefore the big elevator is built in.

3,3

Therefore we decided to leave the floor open and to be supported by a light and interesting steel structure carring a terrace.

Connection At this point the common people are entering the building. It is supposed to be inviting and representative.

3,3

A key problem of the ground floor is, that we have little groundspace. This is due to the adjacient build environment, the particular shape of our building and aswell the idea of not disturbing the nature/the rock to much.
