Introduction of Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation & Scholarship Program The Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation dates all the way back to 1965. Initially, to aid the disastrous floods in the city of Klamath in Northern California, Kiwanians, being the generous and grateful people they are, raised and put funds together to renovate the town once again. In 1980, a past governor, Kenneth C. Forror, M.D., created a scholarship fund to help students like us that are part of the Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs (SLP), specifically to our Cal-Nev-Ha District. Years later, it has become a The Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation. Today, the Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation Scholarship Fund awards about $75,000 – $110,000 in scholarships every year.
