Introduction Hello everyone! My name is Sofia Pantoja, your Kiwanis Family and Foundation chair for the 2020-2021 term, and I wanted to briefly introduce to you the YOF and PTP grants that clubs and/or members can apply for. Unlike scholarships, which provide financial aid to members seeking higher education, grants are given to clubs/members who are seeking funding for projects that serve their communities. These projects usually address a lack in your community from literacy, health, and safety, but any idea that can make a positive impact is encouraged to apply. Throughout these projects members will have the opportunity to improve their leadership abilities, have fun, and gain service hours. While still making a real change in their communities for the better. More information about the YOF and PTP grants and how to apply are provided below. I highly encourage all of you to apply for either grant. As I know all of you could make an incredible difference in your communities with these grants! Yours in service, Sofia Pantoja Kiwanis Family and Foundation Chair
