I. projects
In this chapter I included my favorite projects. There are four different projects reflecting the results at school well as at work. You may notice that I work with different scales. From the urban area to detail the processes inside the building – I call it a human scale. Therefore, I give emphasis on analysis and communication with the client.
COMMUNITY CENTRE IN THE OLD PREMISES OF THE DISTILLERY CLIENT university with Katerina Mullerova 2015
LIMITS state of buildings, traffic situation, south gate of Prague
MY APPROACH reconstruction of some buildings, community, seduction two communications into one, thereby achieving access to the river
Studied area is located in the former area ZlĂchov distillery close to the island Cisarska louka. It is thus the first developable parcel on arrival to Prague, it would be a pity to dilapidated area was neglected. Rather, it is necessary to find the most interesting uses for this attractive location and to the tip of Prague lure life, and with it the new residents. To basic urban concept we keep building refineries, threestorey warehouses of spirits, building of syrups bottlers and, of course, dominates the entire complex - smokestack. Buildings that are on the border of life and those that are already ruins, we break down. This opens up access to the river and the riverside of Prague. The community center is open for all, functions are in fact designed with the demand for full the area 24 hours a day. Following the model of functioning of foreign examples of revitalization of industrial areas we create in area of ZlĂchov distillery possibility to use for small businesses, studios and offices. We create opportunity product to produce, store, distribute as well.

CLIENT city Turnov - 14 300 inhabitants my projet in architectural studio In-Point 2015
LIMITS clients request - park furniture, theme of water specifics of reservoir functions required by the land use plan

MY APPROACH preserving the character of reservoir, open city park, great importance on a local scale
Rehabilitation of the reservoir was very special project of its difference. Reconstruction of the former reservoir for exhibition purpose was simpler when I was little bit forgotten the appearance of traditional museums. Proposal charmed client in the fact that I decided to leave everything as it is and let the audience experience the feeling of standing in a dark space where just is dripping water, then climb the ladder to the narrow tunnel ....

MY APPROACH individual access to his family and their demands, cozy home
Reconstruction of a house for me has been very beneficial in the fact that I was here first tried to design for a specific family that has its own traditions, requirements and expectations. I greatly enjoyed working with them and invent something that makes them happy.

LIMITS Corner vacant lot 3 functions; Engel´s regulation; the specific character of Dejvice.
MY APPROACH a combination of the three functions - complexity in the scale house, the hierarchy of the facade as a response to the noisy square
Multifunctional house was my bachelor thesis, when one semester I dealt with the architectural project and the second technical documentation. Bachelor thesis had two parts - an architectural and construction. I learned there to develop any documents required for building permits. Townhouse conceals three basic functions - there are spaces for administrative purposes, housing and shops. The house is serviced by three vertical cores. The outer facade is equipped with shielding elements that can be moved as required. On the floors with the apartments are also loggia, which not only prevent overheating, but also enable a smoother transition between the quiet apartments and bustling square. The height of the main cornice follows the EngelovĂĄ regulation. The courtyard is connected to the streets with three passages. There are 160 parking places on two underground floors. In the parterre there are shops, entrances to the garage and utility room. The second and the third floor is designed for offices. It also incorporated a conference hall for 150 people, including all facilities. Flat roof on the sides is designed as extensive green.

II. concepts
Here I have included projects for which initial idea is the most important. It is finding an answer to a specific problem area, groups of citizens or individuals.
CLIENT university 2013
LIMITS comply entering, large parcel, tram turntable, building height
MY APPROACH creation functions for all the senses by floating cells in space
ART LAB My first reflections on art laboratory developed the idea of the many sensory experience. That this object is attracted not only visually, but also that smelled and tasted. I wanted to achieve a synthesis of all human senses. All ages choose in various disciplines - all the performing arts, „cooking as a work of art“ and of course, games for the little ones. The concept of the house is built on a small „floating“ cells of various sizes and shapes.
A pleasant walk down the street when you see the various events that take place inside. This system has a function „entice“ for a building.

CLIENT city Roztoky/university 2014
LIMITS missing bridge, accommodation, a bridge for residents, protected area CHKO
MY APPROACH close are the climbing rocks so I designed the bridge to residents and the climbers - thus serve as a bridge as well as the attraction of the city - - CONNECT MORE GROUPS
The project was created as response to climbing rocks, which in the surroundings. Over the river, I designed a three-level bridge through which you can go, or polish on him relax. Required accommodation is solved by means of two rentable rooms in each cell. The ground floor of these houses are needs for climbers, facilities for staff and a small information center.

LIMITS river, floods, required functional content
MY APPROACH creating modular system beach - may be at any location with any functions, tiltable sides - private vs. sunbathing
In this atelier we did islands on the Vltava and I decided to deal with public beaches. I investigate that in Prague there are not so many public beaches compared to other European cities. Whole Island is constructed from modular pontoons which can be put together according to investor’s wishes or other possibilities - basic unit is a prefabricated pontoon with folding arms. The proposal is designed so that the whole family will find fun - there is a children‘s playground, volleyball and bar.

MY APPROACH tree small balls with different functions
In the very first studio we were looking for a place for me. And here we have built a small building to relax, weekends etc. I designed three balls. In each of them is different functions: seating for friends, kitchen, bedroom. The entrance is farther, dug in the ground.

III. Group work Here I placed a chapter that is for for me personally very specific. I am very like to work in groupe. For example, at Erasmus in France we worked only in groups. and it was very helpful! Most rewarding was to communicate with with people from different countries get to know their habits and attitudes to architecture.
SARCELLES URBANISM ERASMUS PARIS Here I just wanted to evoke the atmosphere of exploring and analyzing the territory outskirts of Paris. In this studio, there was no final output. It was rather a lot of partial during the semester.
ISLANDS ON THE VLTAVA There was more of an experimental studio, which was similarly based more on analysis during the semester and collaboration across groups. I result I have presented in chapter II. - beach on the Vltava.
GRASSHOPPER EXPORT INTO PHYSICAL FORM In Paris we are also taught basic parametric models in Grasshopper. Here we worked in pairs and in the last week, we had the task develop a model that was subsequently printed and made from it as well as the physical model.

„Designing is a matter of concentration. You go deep into what you want to do. It‘s about intensive research, really. The concentration is warm and intimate and like the fire inside the earth - intense but not distorted. You can go to a place, really feel it in your heart. It‘s actually a beautiful feeling. Peter Zumthor
