Projects 2012/2013 In term 2012/2013 Local Committee Osijek continued to work on our very known traditional projects which are highly recognizable in our external environment like Action, not Reaction, Equal in Diversity Global Village and Local Training Seminars. In the beginning of the term we have faced with expectations from our members to run these projects and to provide them leadership opportunities which are generated from them.
Besides respecting tradition, we decided to create new fresh projects which will come as refreshment for our Local Committee and for our stakeholders. So that was the moment where PR Impact has born – a conference focused on Public Relations with Alumni involvement, Children – Friends of environment – an ecological project aimed to raise environmental awareness from the young age, held in private kindergartens; Career in IT sector - seminar for students about their possibilities in IT sector delivered from external lecturers.
Also, we focused a lot on internal projects to provide even more opportunitites for development of our members. Due to that, they had opportunity to participate in Brand Audit - real market research, going on nationally to collect dana about our posititioning among students; Member Recrutiment and EP (Exchange Participant) Recruitment Teams aimed to promote membership and exchange opportunities on faculties in Osijek; they had opportunity to join Project Development Team and to participate in creating new projects. In addition to this, Osijek hosted Winter Leadership Development Congress – national conference in Orahovica, Global Village in cooperation with ESN (ERASMUS Student Network) Osijek and IAESTE Osijek, two Local Training Seminars, and we successfully openned two Specialized Units for exchange promotion in Slavonski Brod and Vukovar. Also, members had opportunity to participate in organization of Alumni event which was held in Lumiere this year. For Faculty of Law there was a team for exchange promotion under name of Human Rights as a special category of EP Recruitment Team.
In the next few pages you will have the opportunity to read more about our projects.
