Supplies

Notes

• Sport weight yarn in colors: o Skin tone - 80 yards (Light, Medium, Dark, etc. I used “Petit Berger” yarn in a light skin tone) o Lime Green - 80 yards (I used: El Gato “Meta” yarn in color 4693L). o Magenta - 50 yards (I used: El Gato “Meta” yarn in color 4650C). o White - 70 yards (I used: El Gato “Meta” yarn in color 4600P). o Pink - 1 yard (I used: El Gato “Meta” yarn in color 4635E). • 3.00 mm. crochet hook • 2 (8 mm.) safety eyes • Black thread (for the eyelashes) • Pink eyeshadow, blush or pink chalk for the cheeks. • Yarn needle • Thread needle • Stitch markers • Scissors • Stuffing material of your choice

• This pattern uses US Crochet Terms. • The doll is worked from the bottom to the top, starting with the legs and finishing with the head. • You’ll need to switch yarn colors in the body and legs. • I like to crochet amigurumis and dolls very tight, so it can keep its shape. • You can make a bigger toy by using a larger size of hook or by using a thicker yarn. • I suggest that you stuff the neck very very firmly, so the head won’t tilt. If you feel the head unsteady even if you stuffed the neck very firmly, you can put half of a straw inside of the doll, going from the middle of the body to the middle of the head. You can also roll up a piece of foam (or EVA foam) and insert it through the middle of the body up to the middle of the head. You can also make this for the legs, inserting the straws or foam,if you need more support for the legs. This pattern is for personal use only. Please do not share or distribute pattern. Pattern made by Michelle Alvarez. Of course you can sell the toys made with this pattern! Just give credit for the pattern to Michelle Alvarez from Bunnies and Yarn ;)

A great help is to join the legs with a piece of (green) yarn first, so this way, the legs stay in place while you make the round of single crochet. Leave the piece of yarn there, don’t take it off, it will help to close the gap that forms when you join the legs.

The l ast round of each leg has 15 single crochet, so, when joining and crocheting around the legs together, we will finish
