THE PLANET IS OUR HOME Over the last century the world has seen rapid population growth leading to increased energy and water consumption. Greater industrial production, heavier traffic, increased waste and emissions of greenhouse gases have, many experts say, contributed to global warming.

The environment is the foundation for our future. We preserve it. Today, our quality of living is closely related to the care of the environment.

While

complying

with

the

most

stringent

environmental protection standards, for example ISO14001 and EMAS, Gorenje is developing new environmentally friendly technologies and processes. Nearly all Gorenje appliances are either A or A+ energy rated. By developing environmentally friendly materials and including functions that deliver considerable energy and water savings throughout the life of the appliance, we hope to preserve the environment for generations to come. The use of old inefficient kitchen appliances leads to higher energy consumption and indirectly higher emissions of greenhouse gases. In some instances old appliances use two or three times more energy and water than new A rated models. In addition, with the increases in the cost of energy, this represents a significant saving of both money and the environment. For example fridges and freezers which are switched on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and are more than 15 years old, consume up to three times more energy than the latest models. This saving is achieved by using the latest energy saving components and thicker insulation. The latest Gorenje cooking appliances, as well as saving time, can save up to 25% of energy costs when compared to older appliances. This is achieved by using energy saving features such as a special EcoEnamel coating which reflects heat back into the oven cavity. Washing machines and dishwashers use up to 18% of all energy consumed in a typical home. The latest Gorenje models use almost half the electricity and water when compared to models over 15 years old.

Touch control screen

The vertical black line running the length of the fridge freezer has an integrated touch control screen, which is almost invisible at a distance. The easy to use interactive screen extends the refrigerator functions and gives information on a number of useful features including food storage and energy saving.

Quick view

A band of black glass flows down the front of the fridge freezer doors. By using the touch screen, a square area of that band becomes transparent. This window offers a practical but always tantalising glimpse of what is inside the fridge.

The combination of dark natural wood & solid aluminium creates a unique shelf which is versatile, multifunctional and can be removed and used as a serving tray.

The oven features a solid aluminium handle which crosses the black glazed surface like a bridge and a touch control screen decorates the upper part of the oven. The smooth glass surface is easy to clean, and the touch screen is loaded with features, for example you can input and save your own recipes.

The beautiful and practical induction hob compliments the Pininfarina range, using the latest induction technology to give controllability, speed of response and an easy clean surface.

Gas hob

The beautiful and practical 5 burner gas hob features heavy cast iron pan supports that blend into the unique hob design formed from aluminium.

Slider touch control

No superfluous details such as knobs or buttons should steal the attention from the pure and simple form. With the touch of a finger, this unique feature allows complete control of each heating area. It is both practical and beautiful.

Sophisticated technology reduces humidity in the freezer and prevents the formation of ice on food items and in the appliance interior. Time consuming defrosting is completely eliminated. The Gorenje Premium Touch (WA 65205) is the first washing machine featuring an easy-to-use, touch control screen. Extremely user-friendly software developed by Gorenje guides you through the logical selections on the easy-to-read interactive LCD display in the language of your choice.

UseLogic® technology is based on innovative solutions, which automatically optimise the washing process, delivering significant savings in water, energy and time. Intelligent sensor technology continuously monitors the purity of the water and the amount of foam, and automatically takes care of additional rinsing where appropriate. In each cycle, the level of water is automatically adjusted for the type of load. This way, your clothes and fabrics are cleaned gently and efficiently, giving you optimum results each and every time.

33 cm 7 kg XXL load

The large-capacity drum can take up to 7 kg of laundry, allowing you to optimise your wash loads while also ensuring perfect cleaning results. The ergonomically designed, extra large 33 cm porthole door makes it much easier to load and empty the drum even when washing blankets, bedding or other larger laundry 1995 items. The top models have an illuminated drum which when the door is opened makes it easier to remove all (1) the contents without 400 kWh leaving that one sock behind!

Gorenje WA 65205 features intelligent load sensor which weighs the washing and automatically suggests the correct amount of detergent required. This gives valuable savings by optimising your detergent use but never at the expense of wash performance.

Quick Choice menu for personally created programmes

Delay Start and End Wash settings

The Premium Touch model allows you to create and store your own personal programmes. This feature is particularly useful when doing a specific type of laundry always using the same, fabric adjusted cycles. You can create your personal programme by setting the type of laundry, washing temperature and other parameters, and save it for future use. The programmes can be stored in such way that with each subsequent use the menu displays your personal cycles. To run a programme simply select it from the menu by touching it, and then press Start.

You can set the time for the start of the washing cycle (delayed start up to 24 hours), which effectively lets you programme your washing to begin at a time to suit you. The most sophisticated models, also boast the End Wash feature. The time at which you would like the washing to be completed, can be set up to 24 hours in advance. According to the selected programme, the washing machine automatically calculates the appropriate starting time.

Wash Wizard

The Premium models simplify the washing process by allowing you to select the type of laundry, indicate the degree of soiling, and press Start. The washing machine automatically sets and runs the optimal cycle.

Customised programmes tailored to your needs

In addition to standard washing programmes, Gorenje washing machines also feature a number of special purpose programmes and functions tailored to your personal needs. Mix: In the past fabrics of differing colours would need to be washed separately, now it is possible to wash a mixed load at 30 °C so there is no need to wait for a full load of a particular type of laundry to accumulate (always follow the manufacturers label instructions).

Hand Wash: You can now wash your most delicate hand wash items with confidence using this specially designed gentle programme at 30 °C. Available on selected models. Always follow manufacturers label instructions.

Quick Wash: The Quick Wash option allows you to further shorten the time of the most regularly used programmes. This option is very handy for less soiled laundry giving savings in time, energy and water. Gorenje's fastest programme, Hand Wash, takes only 17 minutes to run, which means that your favourite clothes are washed in no time at all.

Easy Ironing: This option adds more water and has a gentler spinning action during the rinse cycle, which prevents the fabrics from bundling together. As a result, they are less creased and wrinkled, which makes them much easier to iron.

Jogging: For lightly soiled clothes used for recreational activities or items which merely require freshening Gorenje has designed the quick wash Jogging programme at 40 °C.

Extra water for allergy prevention

Switch from 40 to 30 °C and become Eco friendly

More efficient detergents and modern washing programmes provide excellent washing results at lower temperatures. Instead of selecting a 40°C programme choose a 30°C washing cycle and save at least 40% electricity. By selecting the short, 17 minute cycle option for the 30 °C programme, you can contribute to even greater energy savings.

Selecting additional rinse cycles or Water Plus allows you to ensure that any residual stain remover, detergent and softener has been effectively rinsed out of your clothes and fabrics, which is vital for anyone allergic to these substances.

Additional settings

Depending on the model you select, there is a wide range of additional settings. Two of the most popular settings are a higher water level for extradirty clothes or curtains and a special spin adjustment for very delicate textiles.

Clear Water sensor

The Clear Water sensor is available on most Gorenje models and makes sure your laundry is perfectly clean without over rinsing. During the second rinse cycle, the sensor checks how clean the water is. If the result is not satisfactory, the washing machine performs up to three additional rinses. When the water is clean, so is your laundry – and rinsing stops. So you always achieve the optimal rinse whilst saving time, energy and water.

Foam sensing

Too much foam makes for a poor wash. All Gorenje washing machines sense the amount of foam produced during the wash cycle. If too much foam is detected, up to 3 automatic rinses ensure your clothes will always be properly cleaned.

Detergent Saving System (DSS)

Gorenje washing machines feature a special, environmentally friendly Eco system, which prevents the loss of detergent during water intake. This saves up to 20 % on detergent costs and effectively helps protect the environment.

Stylish sliding soap dispenser

The Gorenje Premium Touch washing machine is fitted with a unique sliding soap dispenser, which automatically slides in and out at the touch of a button. The functionally designed, easy-to-clean dispenser features three compartments and makes it easy to determine just the right amount of detergent and wash aids of all types.

World’s highest spin speed washing machine with 2000 rpm

With a spin speed of up to 2000 rpm, Gorenje’s Premium Touch is one of the highest spin speed washing machines in the world. On completion, the remaining moisture content in the fabric is only 42 %, which helps the clothes to dry much faster. Nevertheless, the machine is very gentle on the clothes due to optimal spinning for the selected programme being automatically deployed. Alternatively, the spin speed can be set manually, reduced or even turned off completely. Perfect stability of the washing machine, by slow start and multi-level spin control, is achieved by our special electronic stability control system (SCS).

AquaStop – effective protection

Selected washing machines feature a multiple protection safety system, which is highly effective against any leakage. The system includes a valve on the water tap, a floating switch at the bottom of the washing machine tub, and an automatic water pump. In case of an inlet pipe failure, a mechanical device cuts off the flow of water into the tub. More advanced models have a water leak sensor installed in the bottom panel, which if there is any water leakage automatically shuts off the valve on the inlet pipe.

Super silent +

Even when spinning at the highest speed, Gorenje models, by virtue of their superior drives and highly effective housing insulation, are so quiet that they never drown the sound of a normal conversation. The most sophisticated models are characterised by a particularly quiet operation: Super Silent+.

Gorenje dryers feature intelligent UseLogicÂŽ technology. Intelligent humidity sensors continually monitor the moisture content of your load and automatically adjust the time of drying accordingly. When the desired level of drying has been achieved, the dryer automatically ends the programme to prevent overdrying. According to the selected option, items may be slightly damp or iron dry, partly dry, cupboard dry or extra dry.

Energy efficiency B

Gorenje dryers are among the most economical drying machines on the market. With B energy efficiency we achieve 13% energy savingsÂ in comparison with C energy models.

7 kg loads, 34 cm porthole door opening

34 cm

Gorenje dryers can take up to 7 kg loads; in terms of capacity (117 l), this makes them superior to most other comparable products on the market and ensures optimal drying of larger loads. The conveniently large, 34 cm wide door opening makes it easier to load and empty the drum when drying large items such as blankets, curtains, covers or cushions. Selected models feature an illuminated drum when the door is opened. The door can be opened to a full 189 degrees which allows for easy access.

Condenser dryers vs. Air vented dryers

Gorenje dryers offers a choice of condenser and air vented dyers. The advantage of a condenser dryer is that it can be positioned anywhere in your home. The steam generated in the process of drying is converted to water and collected in a container, which needs to be emptied once the drying has finished. The collected water can also be used for ironing (steam iron) or automatically drained out, through an outlet pipe, directly into the drain. This spares you the chore of having to empty the container every time you use the dryer. Due to their superior sealing, Gorenje condenser dryers are characterised by outstanding condensation performance.

No overheating

Gorenje dryers are equipped with a special sensor to avoid overheating. If overheating is detected, the machine stops operating. Drying continues as soon as the electric motor cools down to a normal level.

No overflow

Our condenser dryers are equipped with a sensor that constantly checks the level of water accumulated in the lower condensation container. If the water level becomes too high, a pump transfers water to the upper condensation container. If the upper container is full, the dryer will not function until it is emptied.

Advanced drying programmes for synthetic fabrics

With your Gorenje dryer, the use of conditioners during the washing process is no longer required, as your garments get soft and loose in the process of drying. Perfect drying results are achieved by automatically taking into account the properties of individual types of fabric, and making the appropriate adjustments. In addition to the standard drying programme for cottons and similar hard-wearing materials, Gorenje dryers also ensure optimal drying of delicate fabrics of all kinds. Mix: Ensures safe drying of similar, multi-colour garments. Delicates: Temperature sensitive garments such as blouses, shirts or fine lingerie can be safely entrusted to the gentle care of your Gorenje dryer. A special programme ensures the desired level of drying at low temperature. Refresh programme : This programme has been specially designed for freshening up clean clothes and fabrics. Cool air effectively removes unpleasant odours from your otherwise clean clothes, sparing you the inconvenience of putting them through the wash.

Anti-Crease system to minimise ironing

Gorenje dryers feature an Anti-Crease system designed to reduce creasing. The tumble action and special 3D rib design prevent the garments from getting tangled or bundled up, which results in improved drying efficiency. A 10 minute period at the end of the drying cycle slowly cools down the laundry load to further reduce the possibility of creasing. Even when the dryer cannot be emptied immediately, your garments will not settle or crease by virtue of automatic, periodic tumbling of the load for a minimum of one hour after the cycle has finished.

Easy-to-clean filter

For optimal drying performance, regular cleaning of the filter and emptying of the condensed water container is required. The filter, conveniently positioned on the dryer door, is easily accessible and its ergonomic design makes it just as exceptionally easy to clean.

XL programme

The most efficient way to dry larger pieces of laundry! A special programme featuring reversible drum rotation prevents the laundry from tangling during the drying process. The XL program will dry larger items such as bedding, blankets, pillows, etc. more evenly and with substantially less creases.

Perfect drying

Perfect drying is achieved by using the residual heat from the last hot rinse. As the inside of the appliance housing cools down faster than the dishes, the remaining steam condenses on the interior of the dishwasher, drains to the bottom, and evaporates. The result: perfectly dried dishes.

Height adjustable baskets

Both the upper and the lower basket can be adapted to fit the size and the shape of your dishes. The racks in the lower basket can be folded to provide space for larger items. The upper basket can be moved up to create room for oversized plates. The party glass holder in the upper basket has been specifically designed for delicate stem glasses. The larger, bottom basket also features a compartmentalised cutlery basket to accommodate all types of kitchen utensils.

AquaStop anti-flooding system On selected models with the Aquastop safety feature, the dishwasher can be safely left to operate at night as well as in your absence. In case of leakage or flooding, AquaStop automatically cuts off the water supply while the pump siphons the residual water out of the dishwasher basin. AquaStop remains fully functional for the duration of the working life of the appliance.

Prevent temperature shocks A special heat exchanger gradually increases the water temperature in the dishwasher preventing cold water from flowing over hot surfaces, so your dishes are not exposed to temperature shocks. Hygiene is also improved as the heat exchanger allows effective drying without using air from outside the machine. When the dishwasher is opened after washing, you will not experience clouds of steam.

Create your own cooling conditions!

Different food demands different storage conditions Gorenje fridge freezers provide 5 temperature areas to help prolong the freshness of your food. The electronics help maintain the preset temperatures in the refrigerator, regardless of ambient temperature changes. 8 °C: the highest temperature area in the refrigerator inner shelf and the door shelf. It provides optimal conditions for the storage of bread, pastry, butter, jam and cooked meat. 5 °C: the temperature in the refrigerator door racks and inner shelves – ideal for the storage of dairy products, fruit juice, cooked food, desserts, cheese, pudding, eggs, yoghurts and some kinds of fruits (e.g. melons and watermelons). 0 °C (Zero’n’Fresh): a special drawer for the storage of fresh meat, fish and seafood, fresh dough (e.g. for pizza) and some kinds of fruits and vegetables. Due to the low temperature in the drawer, you provisions will stay fresh longer! - 12 °C: the temperature in the freezer door racks of fridge freezers are ideal for the storage of smaller packs which have already been opened as well as ice-cream cones. - 18 °C: optimal temperature in the freezer drawers for the storage of frozen items.

Fast-chill and fast-freeze options for larger quantities of food

On selecting the fast-chill option, the refrigerator rapidly reduces the temperature. The low temperature coupled with a large volume is ideal for chilling the food very rapidly when restocking your fridge. After six hours, the fast-chill automatically turns itself off and the refrigerator temperature returns to the preset value. When you have a larger amount of fresh food you want to freeze, select the fast-freeze option, which operates at the extremely low temperature of –32 °C. Freezing at this rate of intensity keeps the frozen food in perfect condition longer than conventional freezing. When the food is perfectly frozen, the freezer automatically stops the boost freezing function and returns to the preset thermostat setting; alternatively, the fast-freeze mode can be switched off manually.

Fast bottle chill

When selecting the useful fast bottle chill option, the MultiFlow system blows chilled air through vents in the back wall of the refrigerator. The bottles are placed in a special, removable holder made of non-corrosive metal. When removed, the bottle holder can double up as a wine bottle tray for the wine which should be stored at room temperature.

0 °C Zero’n’Fresh compartment

The sensor controlled temperature is maintained at about 0 °C in the Zero’n’Fresh pull-out drawer and provides an ideal environment for the storage of perishables, locking in and preserving their freshness for longer (see table right). Multiple system circulates chilled air evenly around the storage areas, keeping the temperature in the fridge constant, while the Cold Shower (CSS™) system maintains the temperature at about 0 °C. Chilled air blows directly onto the Zero’n’Fresh drawer contents from vents mounted above the compartment. This way, newly stored items are cooled not only much faster but also more efficiently compared to conventional cooling systems. As a result, the aromas and valuable nutrients in vegetables, fruit and meat products are preserved, which means that your food stays fresher three times longer! The compartment additionally features two containers, which enables you to separate different kinds of food and efficiently manage the available space according to your needs. The drawer is mounted on sliding rails, which allows you to pull it out as far as you need to give easy access.

Gorenje’s cutting edge Frost Free Advantage technology circulates chilled air around the storage areas, reducing the level of humidity in the freezer to prevent the formation of ice on food items and in the appliance interior. Frozen items don’t stick together, which provides a better overview of the freezer contents, while even temperature control helps to preserve the quality, colour and aroma of the stored food. No accumulated ice means optimal utilisation of the storage space; at the same time, the need for time consuming defrosting is completely eliminated. In addition to upright freezers, this technology is also incorporated in Gorenje’s fridge freezers. A key advantage of the Gorenje Frost Free system when used in a fridge freezer, is it effectively eliminates moisture from the freezer section only, whilst maintaining the correct level of humidity in the fridge section. This prevents food from drying out and ensures perfect conditions for the long-term storage of fruit and vegetables. Your lettuce will stay crisper and fresher much longer than in the models featuring a Total Frost Free system in both sections of the combined appliance.

Cooling drawers instead of baskets

Freezing drawers have replaced wire baskets to prevent cold air from escaping, thereby saving energy. Also to make cleaning much easier, frozen food can no longer drop from one box to the other.

THE INSIDE STORY

is the unique feature of all Gorenje single ovens. The cavity of the oven is modelled on the traditional wood-fired bread ovens of the past. This innovative design involves the precise positioning of the heating elements for perfect cooking, with the vaulted interior ensuring a more efficient circulation and an even distribution of hot air inside the oven.

DirecTOUCH, perfect results at your fingertips

This innovative patented electronic programme module has revolutionised the touch-screen operation of the next generation of Gorenje hobs and built-in ovens. Three simple steps is all it takes – cooking has never been easier! After turning the oven on, make your selection by touching the symbol indicating the dish you want to cook, then press “Start” (see below chart for options available). Numerous preset programmes automatically set the right combination of heating elements, temperature and cooking time. Large and clearly recognizable symbols make the oven easy to use while still leaving you the freedom to set all cooking parameters (heating element, temperature, cooking time, meat probe) according to your preferences and cooking ability. Your favourite settings can be stored in the memory and simply recalled when you use the oven next. A Child Safety Lock is an additional advantage of the electronic module preventing unsupervised use of the oven. Chicken

Roasting on the shelf in middle level guide, drip pan is placed one level below. The temperature setting will be 170 °C, duration 1 hour for a chicken of 1 kg.

Fruit cake

Baking in a cake tin on the shelf. Place it in the 2nd level guide from the bottom. Oven temperature is 160 °C, baking time 1 hour for 1 kg of dough.

Pizza

The oven will preheat for 8 minutes to 200 °C. After preheating place the pizza in the middle level guide in shallow pan or on a baking stone. Baking time 10 minutes for a pizza of 400 g.

Bread

Baking on shallow tray in middle level guide. The temperature setting will be 200 °C, duration 1 hour and 15 minutes for a 1,5kg of dough.

Pork chops, fish

Roasting on the shelf in the upper level guide (drip pan is placed one level below) with door closed. Turn the meat around halfway through roasting. Oven temperature is 250 °C, roasting time 25 minutes for 4 x 200 g.

Rising of yeast dough

Preheating for 3 minutes to 40 °C. Rise dough in a bowl, placed on the shelf in 2nd guide from below.

Pork chops, roast

Roasting in small pan on the shelf in the middle level guide. Oven temperature is 195 °C, roasting time 1 hour 50 minutes for 1 kg roast.

Defrosting

Place the frozen food on the shelf in the middle of the oven. Dripping pan is placed in the guide below.

Biscuits, brownies

The oven will preheat for five - six minutes to 160 °C. Baking in shallow pans at two levels simultaneously (2nd and 4th from the bottom). Baking time 25 min. for 2 x 300 g.

AquaClean

Pour half a litre of tap water into a deep baking tray and place it in the 2nd level guide from the bottom. Set the oven temperature on 50 °C for half an hour.

Touch control electronic programming timer

Gorenje single ovens feature an innovative sensor controlled electronic timer. Touch control enables you to set the cooking time and select the right temperature, which can be monitored on the control panel display during the entire cooking process. An alarm sounds at the end of cooking process. The surface of the innovative electronic timer is perfectly smooth, which makes it extremely easy to clean. The new electronic programming timers – Gorenje’s latest innovation for a user friendly operation!

FastPreheat, 200 Â°C in 6 minutes

According to market research, a rapid-preheat function is one of the more desirable oven features. By virtue of the ovenâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s special vaulted design and use all the heating elements it takes only 6 minutes for the oven temperature to reach 200 Â°C. A minimum 30 % time saving means that you can serve your pizzas, cakes and other dishes that require a preheated oven faster than ever before. A built-in light and sound alarm will alert you when the oven has reached the desired temperature.

Meat probe

Selected models of Gorenje ovens come with a meat probe, which allows you to directly monitor and control the roasting of your meat. All you need to do is insert the probe tip into the meat and set the temperature to the desired level. The indicator on the control panel will alert you when the meat is done just the way you like it. With the meat probe you can enjoy a perfect roast every time!

Super-size baking area

The 46 cm oven width has a 15% larger cooking surface, which is the result of a fresh approach to oven design. Making the most of the available oven width makes it possible to fit larger quantities of food on a single tray, both when it comes to single-shelf as well as multi-shelf cooking. A highly efficient design of the top heating element ensures a uniform distribution of heat across the entire tray surface which translates into perfect cooking results.

Cooking on several shelves set at different levels

By choosing a Gorenje oven you can bake your biscuits up to three different levels at the same time. The fan at the rear of the oven ensures an even and swift distribution of heat. This enables a more efficient circulation of hot air and delivers outstanding cooking and baking results while saving you valuable time and energy.

PerfectGrill for a perfect crust

The variable large upper and smaller lower grill are safely hidden in the recess at the top of the vaulted oven ceiling while the difference in their relative heights ensures that food is cooked evenly and perfectly, every time. The upper grill element can be tilted down, which makes the oven easier to clean.

Extendable telescopic guides. For safety and better overview!

Telescopic guides make it easy to take baking trays in and out of the oven and to give a better overview of the cooking. The risk of sustaining a burn is thereby significantly reduced.

Extra-deep, XXL baking tray

For gourmets who enjoy making home-made bread, lasagne, quiches or similar, we have designed a special, extra deep 5 cm baking tray. The tray features EcoClean enamel coating, which makes it easy to clean with ordinary tap water, without the use of harmful chemicals. In addition, the oven walls tend to get less dirty as the raised tray sides prevent the fat from escaping.

StayWarm, keeping dishes warm at exactly the right temperature

Setting the temperature between 65 and 90 °C allows you keep the food at the desired temperature for up to two hours. Dishes prepared in advance will retain their taste and stay warm before serving. With this brand new feature planning and serving multicourse meals becomes easy, and there is no problem if your guests arrive late! The new Gorenje oven is a perfect way to maintain your reputation as a perfect host or hostess!

WarmPlate, for professional service

Warmed plates prevent the loss of flavour and ensure that food tastes every bit as good as it should: from soups to pastas and steamed vegetables. WarmPlate will keep your crockery at precisely the right temperature – anywhere between 30 and 65 °C. Enjoy professional service in your home – as you would in the best restaurant in town!

Cool oven panels with DynamiCooling

A highly efficient cooling system designed to keep the temperature of oven panels down during the cooking process (DC) as well as afterwards (DC+) ensures significantly cooler outer surfaces of oven panels. A fan mixes cooler ambient air with the hot air in the oven, forcing the cooled mixture to circulate right under the exterior panels of the appliance. Once the oven has been switched off, a heat sensor keeps the fan going until the oven temperature has dropped below 60 °C (DC+). By keeping the temperature of the oven panels and door down, DynamiCooling significantly improves the safety of oven cooking.

Low temperature of the oven door

Gorenje ovens are fitted with safe and energy efficient CoolDoors (CD). More sophisticated models feature triple-glazed, heat reflective UltraCoolDoors (UCD). Superior door insulation in conjunction with special reflective glass layers improves oven performance together with significantly lower energy consumption. A low exterior door temperature keeps you safe from burns when touching the oven door.

In selected models super-size oven capacity is further complemented by double lighting. Coupled with an all-glass oven door this feature ensures a significantly better view of the interior, making it easy for you to supervise the cooking process from a safe distance.

Smooth oven door surface for easy cleaning Our easily removable oven doors feature no visible screw holes, rubber seals or notches (which are well known dirt traps), which means that they can be quickly and easily cleaned. Some models also feature a removable inner glass panel for even easier cleaning.

Superior EcoClean enamel coated ovens and baking trays

The oven interior features a superior EcoClean enamel coating, which is so smooth and impermeable that heat is reflected into the centre of the cavity rather than absorbed into the panels and trays. This innovative solution produces an even distribution of heat inside the oven, which delivers significant energy savings and outstanding cooking results. The non-stick EcoClean enamel coating prevents fat from adhering to the panels of the oven or the tray, which in turn makes cleaning a piece of cake. Most oven models additionally feature the highly convenient AquaClean option. Just pour half a litre of tap water into a baking tray, place it into the oven and select the AquaClean option. The steam generated by the auto-heat programme (70 째C) acts to soften the dirt and grease on the oven walls and shelves. After approximately half an hour simply wipe down the oven with a soft cloth. Using no cleaners whatsoever, the result is astounding as well as environmentally friendly.

Steamer set

Gorenje ovens allow you to cook your food in a healthy way using our special steamer set. Food prepared in a steamer retains more vitamins, aroma and authentic flavour than with conventional cooking. Your vegetables will not be overcooked and will retain their natural colours. Cooking in the steamer also allows you to prepare your food without adding fat. A three-piece steamer set features a flat strainer, a deep enamel tray and a lid. Steamer sets can be purchased separately and can be used in all recent Gorenje single ovens.*

Glass baking pan

Baking pan made of quality glass is large enough for enjoying in everyday cooking delights; however, it is especially distinguished on special occasions. Transparent glass will enables a permanent overview of cooking process in the baking pan. Moreover, you can take care in time for crunchy soufflés, juicy pies, strudels and golden-yellow roasted potatoes. Baking pan dimensions (H/W/D): 24/406/360 mm.

Professional grill pan set

Pizza set

Fill your home with the delicious aroma of freshly made pizza in a traditional oven using our special pizza tray. The tray is made of stone and doesn’t need to be oiled, which ensures that your home-made pizzas are not only less greasy but also extremely crispy. The threepiece pizza set also includes a wooden baker’s peel for placing your pizzas onto the hot stone base, and a handy pizza cutter.

Induction hobs

Twice the speed of cooking with gas, economy and safety are the main advantages of induction hobs. The PowerBoost feature further enhances the performance of the induction hob, delivering additional time savings. You can easily activate the PowerBoost option by simply touching the letter P on the control panel. With this technology it is induction that heats the pan, not the hob. As a result, it is only the bottom of the pot that gets hot, meaning that the rest of the hob surface, which is not in touch with the pan, is cool and safe to touch. Once the pan has been removed from the heating zone or the heating zone has been switched off, the temperature of the hob surface drops rapidly. Due to this instant responsiveness of the induction zone there is no danger of the pan contents boiling over, which also spares you the inconvenient and unpleasant chore of extra cleaning. By a simple touch of your fingertips you can easily adjust the temperature when preparing various sauces, melting chocolate or performing other temperature-sensitive cooking operations. Any pan with a ferromagnetic bottom (this can be easily checked with an ordinary magnet) can be used for cooking on an induction hob.

Easy control

Gorenje’s cutting edge UseLogic® sensor technology makes it possible for you to operate your ceramic glass hob quite literally with you fingertips. Different sensors enable direct control of each individual burner. The ergonomic position of the operating panel ensures a perfect overview and control over your hob. The child Safety Lock is an extra safety feature, which allows you to lock the hob to prevent children from inadvertently accessing the controls and interfering with the appliance when unsupervised.

BoilControl, helps prevent pans from boiling over

The BoilControl feature enables temperature control on heating zones. Initially, the heating zone will operate at maximum heat until the desired temperature has been reached. After the initial cooking period, the hob automatically adjusts the heat output to hold the temperature at the set level. The food continues to cook safely at the level set at the start of the cooking process.

StopGo for maximum convenience

This feature allows you to temporarily suspend the cooking process when unexpectedly called away. One touch of the StopGo key freezes all settings, giving you time to go and safely answer the door or deal with an emergency. All active heating zones are temporarily switched off until reactivated by the StopGo key.

Wok burner

A triple crown gas burner heats the wok at an accelerated rate, which allows you to prepare your dishes within minutes. Vegetables will be crispy and cooked just right, and will retain more vitamins, minerals and other nutrients compared to food cooked in a conventional way.

Two and three or oval ring heating zones

Two or three ring heating zones make it possible for your hob to adapt precisely to the size of pan used. Oval heating zone is ideal for cooking large cuts of meat or fish. By simply switching on the extra tone, you can increase the cooking zone as needed.

Superior performance, ease of operation

The extraction capacity of a cooker hood should match the size of the room the hood is designed to ventilate. Contemporary trends in home design, where the kitchen has become a place for eating and entertaining, as well as cooking, also calls for a higher capacity hoods. To ensure effective ventilation of a 50 m2 room, a hood with an extraction capacity of 300 m3/h is required. However, in Gorenje’s comprehensive range of hoods you will also find highcapacity models featuring a maximum extraction rate of 811 m3/h. Gorenje hoods can be operated mechanically or by easy to use elegant touch control. The rate of extraction can be adjusted by up to four different fan speed settings.

Extraction vs. re-circulation

Dependant upon your requirements you can choose between extraction and recirculating hoods. Extraction hoods draw in cooking fumes and trap vapours through in a filter while expelling odours to the outside through a ventilation duct. Re-circulating hoods draw in steam and odour saturated air through a filter, then returns the treated air into the kitchen. For superior performance, a carbon filter (available separately) can also be installed.

Easy-to-clean filters

Metal filters in the Gorenje hoods, which are designed to remove fat particles, can be easily removed and cleaned. You can wash them by hand or in a dishwasher using a ‘gentle wash’ programme. However, acrylic or paper filters used for the same purpose can be simply replaced with new ones.

Halogen lighting

Gorenje hoods are designed to ensure the optimal illumination of your hob. Some models use Halogen light which burn more brightly and are also more energy efficient.
