I teach children ages 7-9 using the CAP SUR… 1. The students really enjoy following the story of the Famille Cousteau and find the adventures of Gaston the Pigeon particularly engaging. The karaoke videos are a welcome component and encourage the students to sing along. I find the materials to be age-appropriate and appreciate how humor is the common thread in the content.
— Rona Mattocks, Alliance Française Dallas, Texas
I frequently use CAP SUR… 1 and 2 during private and group classes. In class, the students like to travel with the family Cousteau. They love listening to the song “The Tambacounda Market” and shopping with the Cousteau’s. The book allows them to imagine themselves anywhere: visiting a savanna or walking by the sea.

TESTI MAPPATI
DAVVERO texts have been converted into “roadmaps” for students, highlighting three key elements: word combinations, connectors, and structures with verbs, nouns, and adjectives with prepositions.
At Klett World Languages, we are proud to offer World Language educators a selection of proficiency-based and communicatively driven textbook options for their students. You will find case studies showcasing DAVVERO’s effectiveness in classroom settings by visiting klettwl.com/case-studies. These success stories highlight how our innovative materials help educators overcome common challenges and significantly enhance learning outcomes.
AUDIOLETTURA

DAVVERO texts are read aloud by Italian speakers. This feature allows students to listen to the text while they read along, listen after they have read it themselves, or practice and check their Italian pronunciation, among many other possibilities.
Using the DAVVERO program has truly transformed my Italian classes. My students are not just memorizing vocabulary; they are actively communicating and expressing themselves in Italian. The program’s emphasis on real-life conversations and cultural immersion has made learning enjoyable and meaningful.
