Pycnogenol® is a herbal food supplement extracted from the bark of the maritime pine tree Pinus maritima (Mill). It contains a standardized amount of natural bioflavonoids.

Pycnogenol® is the most potent and effective natural antioxidant. It boosts the organism’s ability to remove free radicals from the body.

Pycnogenol® is the most effective natural antioxidant. It acts as a scavenger of free radicals – these are highly reactive molecules that are continuously produced within the body. Free radicals react with vital cell components, thereby causing damage to the genetic material – DNA.

Higher levels of free radicals are produced as a result of stress, smoking, UV rays, alcohol consumption, chronic diseases and increased physical activity.
