What This Chart Shows: Residential home sales by month, since 2013. This chart helps show seasonal trends in home sales. Bottom Line: The strong start to 2018 continued in February, with 89 closed sales. We believe the mild winter, combined with fears of interest rates rising, have spurred Buyers into action earlier than normal this year.

What This Chart Shows: The past twelve months sales, for this month and each month since 2010. This is one of the best ways to see the true long term trend in the market. Bottom Line: The long term sales trend in Augusta County continues to increase at a fairly steady rate. If there is enough inventory this year to satisfy the Buyers in the market, these numbers should continue to increase.
