BORN TO CRAFT BETTER PIZZAS Lit Pizza was founded in 2016 by restaurant entrepreneur Ozzie Fernandez. Fernandez brought his first concept to Baton Rouge in 2001 with Izzo’s Illegal Burrito. Using his Mexican heritage and culinary background, he was able to bring his family recipes and deliver them in a totally customizable format with his first start-up restaurant near the south gates of Louisiana State University. Twenty-two restaurants and counting, Fernandez has built a solid foundation of people and resources to create a hospitality brand, GOEat Concepts, with four concepts and a commissary under its umbrella. GOEat Concepts is applying the same founding principles to Lit Pizza of delivering the ultimate experience to every guest - high quality ingredients, generous portions, friendly service, in a clean and fun atmosphere, all at an affordable price.

Lit Pizza is a fast-casual artisan-style pizzeria offering personalized, blast fired (cooked under three minutes) pizzas in a custom wood-fired oven.

Lit is pizza with a modern twist while taking guests back to pizza’s oldworld roots: wood fired pizzas made with only the freshest ingredients all served fast and hot from the oven. The way pizza was meant to be!
