An In!ired Session
I had been wanting to do a Hunger Games inspired session for about a year. I had been working on costumes design sketches while keeping my eyes open for the right models. We hit a few bumps in the road to this shoot, but eventually I found my models. Gabi reached out to me when I put out the model call. We booked her in for our Johanna inspired look. Then she mentioned her mom would be interested in being our Effie inspired look. It didn始t hurt that she sometimes wore her hair pink. I agreed and told her to look out for a girl with longer hair that could be our Katniss inspired look. That始s when she told be about her twin Hannah. I was so excited to turn this shoot into a family affair. With the dresses made, we set a date for the shoot, planned hair and makeup and started getting ready. The shoot was incredible! All dresses were created by Top It Off! by Dazzling Diamond Designs (aka yours truly) Hair and makeup was courtesy of Tasha, Gabi and Hannah.
