I have known Harmony for many years. She is a dear friend of my younger cousin, so our paths often crossed over the years. When Harmony reached out and asked to be a part of one of my upcoming model calls, I was thrilled to get her in front of the lens. The couture gown she is wearing was created by Top It Off! by Dazzling Diamond Designs www.facebook.com/topitoffhats one of my other businesses. We decided to base Harmony’s couture shoot off of The Little Mermaid, after all, her hair is the perfect color for it and her wide, gorgeous eyes, are perfect for a modern take on Ariel. The session is inspired by Ariel’s time on land, with references to her fins in the color of the dress. We explored, looked at little details in nature and used props in unconventional ways to represent this new world she was exploring and just beginning to understand.
