Once upon a time... There was a princess. There’s always a princess. And a prince. And usually a beautiful white horse that appears in the background of half the scenes of the story. People like strong princesses, handsome princes and horses that have no reason to be in the story other to add gorgeousness. But to have a happy ending, the victors must vanquish the wicked enemy that they make out to be old and ugly. Reality check: “once upon a time” does not end at “happily ever after” and things are not always what they seem. Don’t worry, there’s more to the story because while everyone is busy celebrating, the Queens are in the woods regrouping and planning their next move...
They tell these stories as if they were independent of each other, as if none of the princesses or princes ever met, so of course the Evil Queens are working by themselves. That’s not the case, however. They may each have their own targets, but they are well aware of what the other Evil Queens are up to and work behind the scenes for each other. ‘Two heads are better than one’ as they say. Together they work to plan their next move.
People from the kingdoms often feared the woods. The Queens used this to their advantage.
From the woods the Queens could work without fear of being found. They could hide in edge of the tree line and watch the villages and gather information. They could talk and did not have to whisper.
The people of the kingdom seemed to forget about the Evil Queens as the days turned into months. Out of sight, out of mind.
