Torre “Charm City Seven” Lewis is a Baltimore native who has been working in the entertainment industry as a child Seven would perform in church and school plays such as “A raisin in the Sun”. Torre is a great father, song writer, rapper, sound engineer,actor and music producer with projects on Apple Music “Kill for your love”. Seven has performed in Series such as “Torn” and “Scar” to name a few.

Melani Jackson…………….……….As Tracey

Melani Jackson is a Baltimore, MD native singer/songwriter and actress. She is a creator of what she calls "life music”, a cross cultural array of inspirational songs that everyday people can relate to. Melani is also a worship leader and a children's vocal instructor. She has performed in theatrical plays such as “A Right Kind of Love” and “From Here to Eternity” Melani can be reached at Melanijackson.com

Eileen Davis……………………..……….As Nana

Eileen Davis is a native of Bessemer, Alabama and now lives in Baltimore, Maryland. She has appeared in over 10 film, television, and theatre productions. Kristen Michelle Young Cousin Doll-Baby

Kristin Michelle Young is a film producer and stage director who enjoys working behind the scenes, but has a never ending love for performing on stage. She has joined countless stage productions as an actress and is excited to join forces with this creative team. Kristin has over 15 years of project management experience. She has studied acting and stage production for over 25 years and earned a degree in television production from Morgan State University. Jayla Jordan born and raised in Baltimore; Maryland is a 10th grader at Saint Frances Academy. Jayla loves to do hair, fashion, music and modeling. Jayla has starred in two church plays and a school talent show. She also modeled with the Couture Dolls. In 2015 Jayla released her first single, a remix to “Panda”. Owen Funderburke III………………….... As Big Chris

Owen Funderburke, III is a native of Westbury, New York, currently living in Baltimore, MD. Owen is a comedian who’s been making audiences laugh since 2015. Owen has shared the stage with Bruh Man from the 5th Floor, Chris Spencer, Hamburger, Ricky Shackleford, Howard G, Larry Lancaster, Chris Thomas, Meshelle, Mike Brooks, Laughing Lenny, and Tony Woods, to name a few. He played a homeless man in the film “Christmas Lottery”. He also played Grady in “The Sanford and Son Tribute” stage play and he played in the short film “Everything Matters” in March of 2022

Troy Roundtree As Ernest

Troy Roundtree a Baltimore native, graduating from The University of Eastern Shore, Bachelors Art Degree in Construction Management 2005, and The Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts 2014 He is also a Marine Corp veteran serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Currently he is following his passion for videography, acting and the thespian arts. Starring in “Scar the Movie, and Hood Dreams” movies to name a few, even doing a voice over on “Torn” the series. Troy is bringing years of life experience to the stage, yet still a student of life, as it plays!!

Lynae “Ivy” Gregg……………………….... As Iesha

Lynae “Ivy” Gregg born native of Baltimore, MD She loves to, sing, act, model and paint Having a lead role in short film “Running Lost” and feature in “Hopeless Romantic” has jump started her filming career Lynae’s ability to immerse herself into the characters’ shoes an tell their story is heartfelt and admirable Her greatest love is being a mother to Johnathan.

Kent “Chickenwing” Boyd…………. As Chickenwing

Kent “Chickenwing” Boyd Sr. native of Baltimore City. Comedian, actor and author of “Just Another Sunday Morning in the Hood”.Chickenwing performed in “Sanford and Son” stage play. He is a deacon at Freedom Church. He is a 22 year employee of Baltimore City DPW. Co Owner of MaMa Dee’s Production and Executive Producer for “A Right Kind of Love Stage Play”

MEET THE WRITER/DIRECTOR

Lynaia Jordan

Lynaia Jordan, native of Baltimore, MD. Born and raised in Flaghouse Projects. Lynaia is the mother to Ramiya , Jayla , Jason Jr. and married to Jason Sr. Trying to find a way to deal with life struggles Lynaia began to write poems and songs that she would sing in the mirror and in her room with her little sister Jerria Lynaia wrote her first book “Torn But Not Broken” in 2009, then “Torn But Not Broken 2” in 2018, and “Beneath the Surface” in 2020. “A Right Kind of Love” stage play first premiered in 2019, while filming the pilot for “TORN” a series Lynaia wrote and produced. She wrote and produced two short films “Running Lost” and “Everything Matters” that premiered in March of 2022. Lynaia is currently working on her Feature Film “Beautiful Scars”.
