WORK FOR YOURSELF, NOT BY YOURSELF The clubhouse is a co-working office space. This is a style of working environment, often an office and independent activities and places to collaborate with other Co-workers. This project focuses on the younger generations . it has a place for any career and many different businesses to rent a club house and to also have many other collaborative spaces with other people. IT also has many places for the people to play and relax with in the work place.

Prairie pines is an educational place for people of any age to learn about nature. It also has a historic aspect of the land and how it came to be which is located in the silo. The silo also contains most of the entertainment for the place. It has an outdoor stage that can hold many different events, including concerts, field trips, speakers, etc. Prairie pines is a place to be expanded for more use. Eventually the University of Nebraska will have classes out there and research center as well.

Every part of this design will be interconnected and mutually beneficial from each other. The green house will connect with the grocery store and also with the educational kitchen. The layout also will reflect on this idea with the overlapping of each other also will reflect on this idea with the overlapping of each level and ceiling details. The educational kitchen will hold classes for people to learn how to cook healthy and on a budget. They will also use locally grown products that will be sold within the grocery store. Moving up into the next level you will get to eat at a local coffee shop that overlooks the grocery and educational kitchen. The cafe also continues up to the second floor where there will also be rent able booths for locals to come and less their own products.

The intention of our community is to solve the variety of problems that people face after strokes as well as with the standard aging process. The process of aging can affect a human, physically, emotionally, and cognitively and that is increased exponentially when you undergo a stroke. Our community will be a neighborhood of residential homes that share amenities with the nursing/assisted living homes that is also on the property. When people living in the homes get to the stage in life where they need assisted living or nursing care, they do not have to leave their neighborhood and friends, they can essentially transition across the street into the nursing facility. This is essential for the aging process because 90% of the elderly do not want to leave their homes.

Pacific Edge Community Site Layout. The Pacific Edge Golf Course is the backdrop for the Pacific Edge Residential and commercial community. The course surrounds the residential homes. Located on the opposite side of the neighborhoods is the nursing care facility, along with the other amenities offered for the community. All of this put together to make for a beautiful community to call home for residents of 50 and better.

Adam Central Elementary School is a new School located in Hastings Nebraska. They are combining three elementary schools into one. With our concept we wanted to make it about community and bringing all of the schools together. We have open grade pods to encourage the teachers to get our of the classroom and collaborate with other classes and other grades. There are also many collaboration spaces outside of the pods again to push outside of just sitting in the classroom all day. This school Also has the open Library method along the main transition area. The ramp make up the entire core of this building.
