It’s a shape known the world over. Classic, sophisticated, inspiring – the Golf is simply unmistakable. It epitomises the Volkswagen approach to automotive design; fi rst of all, it does its job; second of all, it’s aesthetically pleasing; and thirdly, it identifi es itself as part of the Volkswagen family.
Every generation of the Golf has further optimised its design and this model is no different. From aerodynamics to lights and from mirrors to windows, every angle, every component and every decision has been carefully considered and precisely executed. 01 02
01. Overall exterior design
The exterior of a car should do a couple of things. Most importantly, it should help the vehicle to cut through the air and help provide stability in all external conditions – road, weather and environmental. It should also make a strong design statement and locate the vehicle within a continuum of previous models and marque stablemates. The Golf does all this with aplomb, from the sleek grille to the integrated bumpers and from the aerodynamic mirrors to the pillar locations. No matter which way you look at it, the Golf is a car that appeals to the eye. 03
02. Sunroof
● Let the sun shine in! There’s no doubt that a sunroof makes a great addition to any car, and the Golf’s optional version is no exception. Electrically controlled, it’s tilt and slide adjustable, with an internal sunblind for maximum convenience. So you can enjoy fresh air and natural light night and day, summer and winter alike.
03. Rear view camera integrated in badge ●
The Golf’s optional rear view camera – cleverly integrated into the badge – makes manoeuvring in tight spaces, not to mention reversing, a much easier and much less stressful process. It provides a clear view on the dashboard-mounted display and further boosts the Golf’s safety package.

04. Daytime driving lights
A car can never be too visible. The Golf’s daytime driving lights help other road users to see it coming from near and far. Mounted within the main headlight assembly and protected by a polycarbonate lens, they’re another great addition to the Golf’s feature set.
