Featured Designer Allyson Dykhuizen Allyson Dykhuizen can’t look at a sweater without trying to figure out how to knit it, which is especially embarrassing when the sweater is being worn by a stranger. She is a knitwear designer and knitting teacher from Michigan who currently lives in Chicago and Minneapolis. Her patterns have been published in Interweave Knits, Knitscene, and knit.wear magazines, and by Lion Brand Yarns. She self publishes patterns and blogs at her site The Sweatshop of Love, and runs Holla Knits.
