MARCH HIGHLIGHTS So many treats, so little time! Top on my list is our beautiful new pattern collection, First Light. It has fourteen designs by twelve different designers, all spanning a fresh springtime palette, perfect for transitional Spring weather and layering. This is a Knit Picks exclusive, available to purchase as a printed book (plus free PDF download) or as individual pattern downloads. Next up, a new cotton yarn to try – Billow. Billow is 100% Pima cotton in a slightly textured 8 ply yarn, soft as a cloud and surprisingly light. The minute this sample hit the office we were all fighting over it and dreaming up our perfect sweaters. I’d also love to try Billow in home décor projects, including textured throws and cushion covers. We thought you might like a little pick-me-up during these colder, wetter months, so we included extra patterns for you to enjoy. Alexis Winslow and Allyson Dykhuizen have never-beforeseen pattern collections to share. Spillyjane, Queen of Mittens, has also joined our Independent Designer Partnership program and we’re featuring a number of her designs that are perfect for Palette.
