The present work is a study of the use of the infinitive and the participle as complements of verbs of speaking and thinking, verbs of perception, vebs of ordering, and modal verbs in three early Byzantine prose works. The Chronicle of John Malalas, Pratum Spirituale, and Vita Theodori Syceotae.
