Proposed Community-Based Vision Old Carver School area is a vibrant and diverse community where people of various generations live together. It is a place where the past is revered and the future is embraced with equal enthusiasm. Distinctive neighborhoods provide peaceful interludes from the hustle and bustle of modern life, and engaging venues for civic dialogue and participation. This neighborhood is home to educational and religious based institutions that bring permanence and comfort to all. Public amenities are seen to be important to enrich the residents’ lives and connect one to another. The residents of Old Carver School Neighborhood value family life, lifelong learning, economic opportunities, neighbors helping neighbors, and strong community connection within the Old Carver School Area and beyond. They embrace the future of the neighborhood to become a safe, clean and well-maintained place that will inspire the future generations; provide a welcoming atmosphere for families, and offer outstanding recreation and leisure opportunities - through better connected, outdoor activity settings (parks, greenways, community center, etc.).
