ION TECHNOLOGY

The ION pedal assist will start working as soon as you start pedalling. The engine is integrated into the wheels and will work smoothly and quietly up to the maximum legal speed of 25 km/h. You can easily choose the desired level of pedal assistance using the control next to the handgrip so you do not have to take your hands off the handlebars. All ION-bikes are equipped with the new user-friendly V-ION display, clearly displaying all relevant information. The removable display also acts as a starter inhibitor, doubling as excellent theft prevention.

MAXIMUM RANGE

Using Automatic Recharge Technology (ART) the battery is recharged when no power is being exerted on the pedals, e.g. when you are going downhill. As a result your E-bike will automatically generate energy, partly recharging your battery and increasing your range.

If the battery needs to be replaced after years of cycling pleasure it can be recycled in an environmentally friendly way.

BATTERY

The battery is one of the most important components of an E-Bike. For all bikes with ION-drive KOGA offers different batteries each with different capacities. Simply choose the battery that is best suited to your required range.

The ION batteries feature a modern design, seamlessly integrating functional elements such as rear lights and handlebars. The batteries are produced in Germany and developed with cells of consistent high quality, protected by an anodized aluminium cover.

SAFETY

You are always safe on the road with a KOGA e-bike: our bikes are equipped with state of the art innovations in electric bike technology. Sensors in the motor continuously monitor the rotational speed and the force which is applied to the pedals. So there is no risk that the motor will spring into action unexpectedly, and you can safely leave a foot on the pedals while, for example, waiting at a red traffic light.

The jerk-free assistance cuts in very smoothly. And because the control buttons are right next to the hand grips, you can operate the e-bike without moving your hands from the handlebar.
