GRILLICIOUS An intimate family dining restaurant. The brief was to create a ‘ lively yet cozy space in a tight budget‘.
A palette of fusion cuisine is mentioned as the core driver for the diners‘ culinary experience. The clients wanted to use traditional cooking techniques with contemporary flavours to engage the younger audience.
This philosophy was expressed through a highlight wall that displayed traditional brass utensils sourced locally from the city markets. This aesthetic was juxtaposed with an industrial setup to add the contemporary flavour. A combination of diffused and direct warm lighting brought a sense of coziness to the space.

CONTAINER CAFE A full fledged cafe along with pantry and staff accommodation in a tight space of just 8x 40 ft.
The key highlight was creating an interesting feel to this new concept while retaining the familiarity of this well-known brand. The brand colours were used to create a striking facade that would be easily visible on highways and resonate strong branding.
A glossy black ceiling with stretch fabric lighting increases the apparent height, making the space feel less compact. The seating area was developed in a separate 20 ft long container with seating for 16 people. Wall murals, dividers and wall graphics were used to create a space that can keep evolving.

CAFE D HIDE ‘
Outdoor area and a prominent facade development for a young quirky cafe in the middle of Bangalore.
Branding is made more prominent and clearly visible by bringing the signage to the street level. Fairy lights have been used extensively to elicit a feeling of a cozy - garden. While the facade has been de-cluttered, a high picket-fence is added to retain the privacy of the visitors.
New elements were developed based on the existing interior setting. Redesigned lighting provided multiple perfect picture spots and also made the space more welcoming.
