Space mining refers to the mining the activities relating to extracting minerals and metals from asteroids, comets, or other heavenly bodies in Space. Space technology is being developed by a variety of companies leading to the enlarged scope of the business over the coming years it is also predicted to enable the exploitation of the rich resources of the asteroids in the solar system. To determine what might be there, astronomers use telescopic spectroscopy, which analyzes light reflected from the asteroid’s surface.
