CARB ONE Based on the original shape of the Kona One. I must say that it has been an absolutely outstanding experience to sail this board. The feeling and result of the work we have put into this project has exceeded all my expectations and left me more than satisfied. The only thing that has changed is the construction. Producing a Hollow board resulted in an incredibly light and flexible board. Without an EPS core, the board floats higher in the water, which provides faster acceleration and a more gentle ride for the body.
HOLLOW Built with an hollow technology in carbon makes the board light and stiff. It floats higher in the water leads to lower resistence and with that comes a faster board.
3M - GRIP Developed togheter with 3M, a soft and non slippery structure makes it not just a good looking deck pad. STEP-TAIL CONSTRUCTION Why a step tail? Well the Kona One board is considerd being a long board. But with the step tail it behaves like a short board when planing. A step tail makes it also possible to sail upwind on the fin with great wave performance and smooth jibing qualities. in other words it is superior in sub-planing conditions upwind and thanks to the step tail it.
