Poprad Landscape Park is not only one of the oldest landscape parks in the Carpathians, but also one of the most beautiful and the richest in terms of the landscape. 70% of its area is covered with forests and the dominant species of the trees are the beech, the fir, the linden and the alder. Waters constitute 1.25% of the park and are an undeniable treasure of this region – they are a cornerstone of various resorts including Piwniczna-Zdrój, Żegiestów-Zdrój, Muszyna and Krynica-Zdrój.
