WELCOME TO OUR NEW OFFICE Dear all, I am very pleased to welcome you to the new AstraZeneca office in Oslo! Being in a vibrant and collaborative working environment is critical for us in order to succeed in our daily work. This is why we have chosen our new office in Løren. The office is in a new and cutting edge building that will allow us to not only be inspired by our workspace but also feel confident that this is the environment to bring through innovation and bring in talent from outside. The office is located in a newly developed area in Løren in close proximity to the Oslo center and with good infrasctructure including buses and metrolines. The area is lively with a hotel, fitness center, cafes, restaurants and shops in a green residential area. The interior of the office has been shaped by our AZ team to create an inclusive and inspiring work environment both focusing on a vibrant collaborative space but also more silent areas for immersive thinking. Finally it is important to highlight that the office is fully aligned to our strategic ambition of sustainabilty and carbon zero 2025. The moving team and the leadership team are convinced that this is the office that will bring AZ Norway into the future and we look forward to having a great opening celebration.

ARRIVAL AND ACCESS INFORMATION To access the office, you must download the app JustIN Mobile and register your name and number. The app is downloaded via App Store and Google Play. To use the app, Bluetooth / NFC must be activated on your phone. You open the app and hold the phone in front of the card reader. Access control is located at all entrances to the building, and doors separating offices / hotel / fitness center and garage. Everyone who has access to the premises via the app also has access in the evenings, weekends, and public holidays. There are no special procedures associated with this. Access to the lifts is managed via the app: Schindler myPORT. Guests must register their own name and the name of the person they are going to visit at the reception desk in Karvesvingen 7, on the ground floor. The reception is operated by NENT. INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER TENANTS AND THE HOTEL The AstraZeneca office is situated on the 5th floor. Among the other tenants in our building, Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT), who provide TV and radio productions, is the biggest. Thus, the office part of the building has functions such as radio studios and TV studios. An open hall connects the office with a hotel. Quality Hotel Hasle Linie consists of 208 hotel rooms, conference areas, meeting rooms, restaurant, and bar. Other tenants are Metrisk Systemparkering and STERK Helse fitness center. AstraZeneca has a parking agreement in Lørenlunden P-hus for 11 spaces. Lørenlunden P-hus is located by Løren Metro and is reserved for office-based functions. KARVESVINGEN 7 ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGY In the process of finding a new office location, a key priority was to find an office and a building that supports AstraZeneca’s goal of being Carbon Zero 2025. The office we have chosen lives up to these requirements. Karvesvingen 7 is a unique and flexible office that includes both an office and a hotel. The office building is not only smart when it comes to energy use and technical solutions – it is also smart because it gives people room to be both efficient and social. The premises have large windows that extend from floor to ceiling. It has nice kitchen zones and meeting rooms. The Hasle Linie project has been planned, projected, built, and operated in accordance with principles for best sustainability practice in the following focus areas: management, health and indoor environment, energy, trans­port, water, materials, waste, land use and ecology, pollu­ tion, and innovation. The building was completed in June 2021.

CAFETERIA We have a lunch agreement with 4Service in the cafeteria in K5. Located across the road in Karvesvingen 5. Employees can choose to have a lunch agreement with a fixed deduction every month and use the Izy app in the cafeteria. With the Izy app you can register your lunch before enjoying the food and you will have a ticket for control if prompted. Those who have a lunch agreement today will automatically receive an e-mail with information on how to create an account. Our designated lunch time in the cafeteria is from 11:45 to 12:45. If you need to eat at another time, there is room for flexibility. Those who are not registered, pay directly in the coffee bar in the cafeteria (Vipps / bank card). For visitors or employees who are not registered with cafeteria agreement, lunch can be payed individually in the coffee bar area in the cafeteria or via the Izy app.

MEETING ROOMS In addition to the 7 meeting rooms in our own office space, it is possible to book meeting rooms both on the ground floor in Karvesvingen 7 and in the building next door, Karvesvingen 5. Booking of meeting rooms in the conference area on the ground floor: On the ground floor there is a separate conference area that belongs to Quality Hotel Hasle Linie. To book a meeting room, send an e-mail to: booking.haslelinie@choice.no. Meeting rooms are paid via invoice with PO number created on the cost center of the responsible team / department.

MEETING ROOMS KARVESVINGEN 5 At Karvesvingen 5 (the same building where the cafeteria is located in) there are 3 meeting rooms available for booking. All rooms are equipped with wide screen, video camera, speaker and wifi network. Meeting room catering can be ordered via the cafeteria. Meeting room Link on the ground floor, by the coffee shop, seats 10 people. Meeting room South on the 11th floor seats 20 people + lounge area. Meeting room North on the 11th floor seats 12 people. Adjacent to the meeting rooms on the 11th floor, is a large roof terrace with view of the city. Meeting rooms are paid via invoice with PO number created on the cost center of the responsible team / department. LOCKERS, BICYCLE PARKING AND DRYING ROOM If you plan to cycle or run to work and need a shower and a locker, you can have a locker membership at STERK Helse fitness center, covered by AstraZeneca. You will receive a membership card which is also used to lock the lockers. You can walk directly from the bicycle parking in the garage in Karvesvingen 7 to STERK Helse fitness center. Towels, shampoo and soap are available in the locker rooms. The lockers must be emptied every day, but it is possible to store things in the drying room (in U1). STERK Helse fitness center offers various memberships to AstraZeneca employees.

WHAT KIND OF OFFICE CULTURE DO WE WANT? We want to create an efficient, inclusive, and inspiring work environment that engages and motivates our employees and is adaptable to individual needs. The idea is that the various zones and meeting rooms in the office will contribute to the greatest possible flexibility in everyday life. The areas nearest to the entrance and the social zone are for activity and socializing. The areas further in are reserved for more quiet and undisturbed work. All meeting rooms are bookable. Pods and train compartments can be used ad hoc.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION Fire alarm, escape routes, emergency lights • The building is equipped with a centralized trackable fire alarm system. • There are 4 fire alarm control panels: one in the EF room hotel (fourth floor), one in the EF room in U1, one in the AV room (first floor), and one in the EF room office (third floor). • There are firefighter panels. One panel is located in the reception area of the hotel, one in the office part at level U1 + 2, and one in level U2 at the outdoor garage door. • There is a stage smoke detection system installed in the AV / storage room behind the conference room on the ground floor. The key box for the fire department is located on the ground floor at the main entrance facing Pipehuset. • Escape exits are marked, and escape routes are described on escape plans in the building. • All hotel rooms are equipped with their own escape plan, in addition to escape plans in the fitness center and common areas / conference areas. • Marker lights have been installed at escape doors, emergency lights in escape routes, guide lights at external escape doors and emergency lights in technical rooms. Temperature control • The building has temperature, CO2, and movement control. • The temperature sensor is equipped with a setpoint knob with adjustment options to adjust the basic setpoint for room temperature by +/- 3 degrees. • Daytime presence: Heating setpoint is set to 22 degrees, cooling setpoint is set to 23 degrees. • Daytime no presence: Heating setpoint is set to 21 degrees, cooling setpoint is set to 23 degrees. • Night: Heating setpoint is set to 19 degrees, cooling setpoint is set to 28 degrees. • Operating hours: 7-16 every weekday. There is a local override switch on all room sensors if someone wants to work overtime. • The CO2 sensor overrides the temperature sensor so that the maximum CO2 amount of 850 ppm is not exceeded. • If the room sensor becomes defective, the default value will be 22 degrees Sunshields • Sunshields are automatically controlled by a weather station located on the office roof. • Each facade is updated on status from the weather station every 10 minutes. All shields are up during the night (from 18:00 to 07:00). • It is possible manually control the sunshield with a switch located in the zone. • In manual operation, the sunshield is released from automatic operation set to 2 hours (optional). • If the sunshield is controlled manually, it will be overridden if strong wind or fire is detected. • All facades have either internal or external sunshields. Light control in the office • The light control in the office floors is based on knx presence detectors and knx light switches. • Presence detector has a built-in daylight / constant sensor that is controlled according to how much light enters the room. • Light is switched on by movement and can be overridden / dimmed manually with a switch (in rooms with a light switch). • Light automatically goes out 15 minutes after the last movement. • The light stays on in the corridors, as long as movements on the floor are detected.
