The amazing Rallarveg to Flåm
Experience the great scenery of highmountain, waterfalls and fjords. Rallarvegen has together with Mjølkevegen, been voted as one of Norways most beautiful bike rides. Rallarvegen is a historic railway line that was built between 1894 – 1909 to connect the Bergen line with the Hardanger line at the foot of two national parks, Hallingskarvet National Park and Hardangervidda National Park. Rallarvegen was opened as a cycle path in 1974, and is now one of Norway’s most popular bike tours.
Mjølkeveg
Detour of the amazing Mjølkeveg is a beautiful and scenic cycle tour with old traditional summer farms, freely grazing animals, openness and the tranquility in the mountain. Mjølkevegen is voted as one of the best cycle tours in Norway.

Day 1. Arrival day

• 10:00 – 16:00 This route goes through an area known for its traditional and idyllic summer farms. The bike ride is suited for all levels. At Brattåsen there are viewpoint towards the famous Jotunheimen and its several 2000-meter peaks. At Langestølen there is a small, cozy café well worth a visit where you can by local, traditional food from the summer farms.

Day 3. E-bike or ordinary bike – Around Golsfjellet
• 08:00 – 10:00 Breakfast and lunch bag
• 10:00 Cycle the frame of the Golsfjellet plateau and enjoy the great scenery towards the famous mountain peaks in Hemsedal and Hallingskarvet. Take a stop at Tisleifjorden and have a bath, or dip your toes in the fjord. At the fjord it is also a perfect place to have a rest and eat your lunch package and enjoy the tranquility in the mountain.

Day 4. Ordinary bike – Rallarvegen from Finse to Flåm

• 09:20 - 11:20 Train from Gol to Finse
Bergensbanen from Gol to Finse is the highest railway in north Europe. At the highest point on Bergensbanen, Finse we start the days cycling on Rallarvegen towards Flåm (53 km, 5-6 hours).
Todays cycling will take your breath away, and it is a must for nature and cycling lovers. The trip takes you through a magnificent high mountain area, along glaciers, small mountain lakes, a beautiful scenery and is peaking at 1340 metres above sea level, before you reach the beautiful Flåms valley and Flåm at sea level. The trip varies from easy to moderate, but a small part of the route can be difficult because of steep and sharp downhills turn.
