101 x NORR11 101 Copenhagen and NORR11 have collaborated on creating a unique experimental lighting collection. The collaboration celebrates the elegance and sincerity of authentic materials and brings forth their true beauty. From simple and minimalistic Le Six series to more experimental series like the Clam and the Japanese inspired Drop series, the collection includes nine series of lights and 46 products in total.
KRISTIAN SOFUS HANSEN & TOMMY HYLDAHL Copenhagen based designers Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl work as a multi-disciplinary design studio across the fields of spatial, lighting, furniture and product design. Natural materials are the design-duos main sources of inspiration, which results in design that expresses clean lines, the beauty of natural material and the way it is produced. Everyday objects are turned into lasting personal mementos, focusing on the principles and processes found in nature, honest materials and quality design. Together Kristian & Tommy strive to combine their passion for Scandinavian tradition, Japanese simplicity and ethnic details in timeless design pieces.
Kristian is a Danish designer graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art (KADK). Kristian spent time in Japan studying at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. Kristian started collaborating with Tommy Hyldahl in 2016 after doing a design internship at NORR11 in 2014 and has now ventured out in the world of lighting solutions and home accessories.

Tommy is the founder and partner in NORR11 and has been involved in the creative direction of the company since its start. Tommy has in 2017 launched 101 Copenhagen, a company that focuses on designing and curating home accessories and lighting solutions for Scandinavian living.

Drop Chandelier & Pendant The Drop Series is a family of drop shaped lampshades with great flexibility due to the adjustable lampshades. The lamp is inspired by the Danish Modernism and the 1950s iconic and experimental approach to lamp design. The drop shaped lampshade ensures and optimizes light diffusion whilst the use of brass adds a warm inviting light. The lamps detailed suspension is inspired by industrial and maritime references and beautifully crafted in oxidized and hand brushed brass. The lamps many arms create countless variations, which can be customized to any room creating a unique lighting solution.

Le Six Wall Le Six is a modern lamp collection based on a minimalistic principle of one single lampshade adaptable for every lamp design. The curved design of the lampshade is inspired by lamps from the 1920s and 1930s in a reinterpreted Scandinavian context. The characteristic trumpet shape is designed in order to create a lampshade with optimum light scattering, which is easily adjusted in any direction. This makes Le Six a very versatile lamp, which fits perfectly into any kind of living space. Le Six is available in various colours and types.

Mushroom Table - Floor The Mushroom Table Lamp is inspired by the archetypal fungus form consisting of a lamp base in brushed brass and a lampshade in smoked glass. The lamp socket is positioned in the lamp base, giving the lamp a simple and light expression. The Line lamps are handmade with a marble base, giving the lamp a solid foundation. The shade is made from aluminium and is connected with the base with a brass rod giving stability to the lamp.

Cloche Pendant The Cloche series is a family of pendants made of spun aluminium with a brushed brass treatment on the inside. It comes with an optional opaque acrylic shield to distribute soft light. This elegant pendant lamp is suspended with a steel wire and has a fabricsheathed cable. The Cloche series is inspired by the French hat of the early 1900s known by the same name. The open design spreads an even light, creating a gentle atmosphere with deep shades and reflections from the brass. The Cloche series is a beautiful piece of minimalism.

Pipe Pendant The Pipe Pendant Lamp is an energy-saving lamp made from traditional steel pipes and features an included LED bulb. The Pipe Lamp family is formed by the inspiration of the industry, where pipes are often necessary for daily operations. The lamp is part of a family that teams up with its different heights – as in both industry and installation, a pipe seldom comes alone. The light from the LED bulb provide a directional warm tone.
