HELPING TRAVELLERS NAVIGATE DOMESTIC BORDER RULES, CONFUSION AND RESTRICTIONS Constant changes to state borders make it difficult to make travel plans. With many travellers having been impacted by strict border closures, snap lockdowns, and what feels like ever-changing restrictions, many travellers are pushing for a simple way to view travel and border restrictions instead of

having to scroll state government websites for answers. Our new domestic travel risk tool helps domestic and New Zealand travellers navigate confusing state-by-state, country and even region-specific travel warnings and restrictions.

HOW IT WORKS Know not no maintains a detailed database of Australian and New Zealand locations, including local government areas (LGA). Governments code these LGA as ‘red’, ’amber’ or ‘green’ according to the Australia/New Zealand COVID risk rating system.

The rating for the LGA is used by each State and Territory as well as New Zealand to set their own entry/exit requirements. Each jurisdiction publishes its own rules. Know not no maintains the latest requirements in its database.
