Kangachepe "Kanga" Banda

– "Kanga" is a young Zambian with a great love and passion for the bush He was first inspired to become a safari guide at high school where he was an active member of the wildlife and conservation club. After completing high school he studied automotive mechanics and moved to the Luangwa Valley to be a mechanic. He spent every spare moment studying towards his Safari Guide exams, joining the Luangwa Bush Camping team in 2007 as a tea bearer. Spending every day in the bush was great exposure and stimulator for Kanga as he learnt a lot. He went on to pass his Safari Guide exams first time, and at the top of the class and is now fast becoming a favorite among Robin Pope Safaris' guests because of his evident enthusiasm and love of the land.

– An experienced, passionate and enthusiastic guide with a great sense of humor Salaash began his career with Asilia ten years ago as a waiter however his enthusiasm for wildlife and the bush was quickly recognized and he sped up the ranks to become one of Asilia’s leading guides. A wonderful host and a natural linguist, Salaash is known across the world for his sense of humor and deep passion and understanding of the Maasai Mara. Alex Walker

Alex spent his childhood with his father’s trackers, scouting the bush of Southern Tanzania, Kenya and the vast wilderness of Southern Sudan. With over 25 years’ experience guiding and outfitting safaris throughout East Africa, he has honed his passion for walking. A keen cameraman, Alex continues to keep a hand in by recording some of Africa’s unique images, and he loves to reveal the inimitable magic of life through a lens.

Beks Ndlovu

– Founder of the African Bush Camps portfolio Beks Ndlovu, is one of the most well-known and respected private guides in Africa. His belief is that the quality, knowledge and passion of your guide can make or break your safari experience. As a keen photographer and writer, he specializes in tailor-made safaris for small select groups and families in some of Africa’s most remote places, including Botswana’s Okavango Delta and Namibia’s desert sand dunes. Ralph Bousfield

– A pioneer of cultural and Bushmen safaris in Botswana Ralph Bousfield is the last in a long line of family safari operators. Five generations of safari experience have both inspired and informed his unique understanding of, and sensitivity for, Africa and its people. Apart from an interesting family background, Ralph also has an incredible sixth sense about the bush, derived from years of training and testing by his colorful father, Jack – a legendary character both in Botswana and across Africa. Ralph has written a thesis on the wattled crane for the Crane Foundation and the Endangered Wildlife Trust. He is also the presenter of a 13part series on the Discovery Channel entitled "Uncharted Africa".
