Norman Carr Safaris – Kakuli Camp

Kakuli, meaning "old buffalo bull", was conservationist Norman Carr’s local nickname. Run by Norman Carr Safaris, Kakuli is open in the "Secret Season" from January to April – when guests can experience walking and boating safaris – as well as from May to early November. Elevated over a stretch of riverbank in Zambia, Kakuli is famous for leopard and lion sightings, and for the views of the Luangwa from all four tents.

The Outpost

This "Big Five" park measures some 65,480 acres and is well known for its abundant wildlife, including species that are rare in the southern and central regions of the park.
