Arıcılar Social Housing Project Professional Work Construction Drawings, Details BIM Modelling and Coordination
A large scaled housing project located in Kağıthane / İstanbul. At first the project has been designed as a huge complex located in several different housing blocks seperated by vehicle roads. Construction drawings has been prepared only for 5 blocks of the project which is only 1 building island. Whole project has been drawn using BIM tools. Designing and drawing a project at this scale with BIM software required many different approaches. Building Models have been divided into many parts such as facades, blocks, from the structural borders and so on and coordination have been made with other disciplines.

Ä°nciroÄ&#x;lu Villas Project Professional Work Construction Drawings, Details BIM Modelling and Coordination
A housing project located in Kayseri / Turkey. Project contains seperate housing units with private gardens. 2 types of units has been designed. Each units has spacious living rooms with large glass openings overlooking garden areas. Project can be described as luxury homes for families. Several materials has been used within the project. Natural stone and ceramic coating materials have been chosen for the primary facade materials.

Ozolini Silent Cabin
Silent Cabin for Ozolini Teamakers, Beebreeders International Architecture Competitions International architecture competitions site Beebreeders has organised an architectural competition for the Ozolini family which owns a Tea making business in rural Latvia. The visitors expects a calm relaxing experience involving meditation and rural living. The competition rules are listed as: the proposed project should have 15 m2 of footprint, and can be accommodated by 1 oerson. Its supposed to be compact and environment friendly and should provide a relaxing experience for the user.

Design Approach
Sketches
Meditation Room
During the design process main inspiration came from the traditional latvian rural houses and the manipulation of it. The fun experience of the manipulation process has meant to be implied within the project. Distorting, tilting changing its proportions accordingly to the site and the requirements. Eventually taking shape as 2 slightly different parts mirroring each other. The idea was to seperate the meditation and the living area to make the meditation experience more solitary without actually breaking it off from the building. Main material of choice is wood because of the rural setting. Japanese architecture was also one of the inspirations.
Meditation room has been placed on the west side of the building surrounded by 3 glass walls. Sunshades has been placed in front of the main wall. Hanged from the roof, wooden beams with 10x15 cm section acting as a part of the main structure broken off from the ground to not interrupt the view while seated also functioning as sun shades. A panaromic view has been designed to give the “inside of a forest feeling to the user while meditation. 17
18
Wooden framework has been designed as a structure and as a architectonic element to define the characteristics of the building. Extensions of the framework reveals themselves as sunshades outside of the building. Whole framework has been placed on top of small concrete footing which are buried inside topographty. Aimed to reduce the footprint of the building on Earth.

Factory Imaginary Technologies in Karaköy/İstanbul Graduation Project Proposed as an alternative to the developing consumer culture, “Factory” points out the existing and slowly dissappearing maker culture within Karaköy and sets a new location for this maker culture. The materials that are being traded, sold or even produced in Karaköy enters a new production process within “Factory” and goes out as new products in the ground floor and meets with the urban life again.
20
First Prototype 1 has been developed. Monumental looks and the notations on the structural system were one of the design principles. Because of the combination details and the widht of the load bearers revisions were made. Final Prototype was designed accordingly to the feedbacks that have been given throughout the whole process. Load bearer widhts, Maximum Height, Combination Details and Natural Light control were some of the issues that has been thought of.
The main goal of the “Factory” is preserving and improving some of the properties of developing and changing Karaköy area. In assumed near future, the androids are expected to be included in daily life and “Factory” is a place to produce them. “Factory” makes certain people from different areas and involves them in this production process. This is basically an evolution in the maker culture in the future.

Programme The spatial organization of the Factory has been made according to the production schema that has specifically designed for the android production. This schema has been designed specially for the users to interact to different phases of the production therefore different spaces within the factory. The spaces within the factory designed accordingly to the production schema and the goal of inviting different users giving them the chance to interact with each other.
