If you live in a 34’ Plan 4 model home then you should know there’s a lot of activity and interest in that model right now. Over the last month and a half, five of these homes have sold and the range in price is astonishing. The spread in selling price from highest to lowest was over $50,000 and days on market was 1 to 74! This significant spread was due in large part to the various efforts in staging and marketing. On the low end, at $530,000 -- the house was gorgeous. In fact, the main level was one of the nicest we’ve seen. Where did it fall short? The marketing. When selling your house, putting the sign in the lawn and listing it online will result in a sale but stage & market it properly and ensure it has tons of exposure and you’ll put significantly more money in your pocket. HOME MAINTENANCE MADE EASY
A home is the largest investment that most people will make in their lives. Make sure that it stays in tip-top shape by staying on top of its maintenance.
Maintaining Your Home 1. Prevent costly repairs. Home repairs can be expensive if they’re not problems before they take a chunk out of your wallet.
2. Keep your home and its systems humming. Staying on top of
home maintenance ensures that your home and its systems work well when you need them.
3. Improve salability of the home. Most buyers want a home that’s been well taken care of, and will pay closer to list price for it.
