After years of entertaining us with rib cracking jokes the son of Patricia was handpicked by comedic icon Jon Stewart to replace him as the host of the daily show on Comedy Central. Trevor settled right in charming America and indeed the world with his unique brand of cutting edge satire touching on societal issues bedevilling America. For a lad 'Born a Crime' in Apartheid South Africa a few decades back that is no small feat. Critical acclaim, awards galore, oversubscribed standup shows,Netflix specials plus a New York Times best selling book have followed as has a Grammy nomination to South Africa's greatest export after Nelson Mandela.
