Find Some’s Cell Phone Number It was actually a great movie setting, all the forces came together. A misplaced coffee cap from a Starbuck’s employee, a packed wait line and an overturned novel turned to movie magic. I was catching up on some reading at Starbucks reading Star Wars: Cross Current and put the book down to check a text on my iPhone. What happened next is the script of movies, a girl was walking towards me and she got bumped over by the longer than usual wait line with a less than secured coffee cup that managed to spill all over my novel. She dropped her book in awe and tried to get some napkins; I just picked up her book and said it was OK. I said Oh I just finished reading “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and she said, “wow I just finished reading Cross Current”. I didn’t know that later that day I would Google how to find someone’s cell phone number. It started off great, after wiping down the chairs and mopping up the floors, I effectively threw out my coffee drenched novel and we both sat down and talked. It turns out we had more than just light novel reading in common, we were both Geeks at heart. I took out my iPhone and she took out hers, I took out my iPad and she took out her Mac Air, she initially came to blog out her day, I said “great thing I had my novel out and not my iPad!” We both laughed at that horrible though and our conversation went on for a few hours till she got a phone call and she had to immediately go. I said “wait can I call you?” she jotted down her number and was out the door. My mistake was that she jotted down her number on a napkin that we used to clean up the mess and the numbers were smudged, I was only able to make out the first four numbers. Time to find out how to find someone’s cell phone number, I was not going to miss out on this once in lifetime serendipity. I know my friends said why didn’t I run out to catch her, well I would have but after I got her number I took a brief moment to take in all that happened, then I looked at the crumpled napkin that inevitably showed a smudged cell number. Entering in the partial numbers and then trying to narrow down the city we were in, I was able to see a few FaceBook.com profiles. Her profile was on the fifth result, I friended her and said “hey this is the guy from the café, your number was smudged so I went Googling you”. I’ll tell you guys how it turned out next time, small hint, there’s a baby bump in the picture and three happy people.

In the end I was so happy to have found her through extensive Googling and trying to find a way to track her down.
