PROJECT

Bakery Polanco LOCATION

CDMX, Mexico BACKGROUND

The first project of my independent work at 5+1. I placed a kitchen and put big glass separation to be able to see from the street. This is a my ambition of the kitchen to connect the street and the inside. Visitors could enjoy a coffee and watching the bread making from the street and the interior. I tried to use many reuse materials which are a kind of trashes of construction site. Because i did not have enough budget. However i found many interesting materials from cheap materials. And i recognize that they could be more interesting than expensive

A studio project Student residence LOCATION

Biel, CH BACKGROUND

This is a studio project in my university. The project is located in the south Biel where is adjacent to the Schnyder Area which was a factory before. The main program is a student residence and sub-programs which are the library, the media-take and some shops. I would like to design a space which can do a active communication with other people for student life. PROJECT

Mobile space LUSH ROOM LOCATION

Tokyo, JP BACKGROUND

conceptual diagrams

The project took a refarence from the nature to realize the form and structure. I was interested about the similarity between cell structure and inflate structure which is a pneumatic system and found many possibility to design a space for various kind of situation from this system. For this reason, i designed a mobile space by using a pneumatic system. To make this project, i found a old technology which is for the inflate toys where is located in Tokyo downtown. Then i transformed this technology to realize my project with the craftsman. It was good experience to make a relationship with welding another kind of field people.

BACKGROUND

The project had not been implemented. I worked this project with the Director of NY office Sergio Robelo. The original museum composed in the uniform grids of modules. For this reason we also tried to inherit this context from original project and designed a new architecture by module. In the end, We proposed a project which is covered by natural lines as compression force and tensile force. We tried to design a facade which is unified surface with structure. I could learn many things under Sergio’s work.
