The name YU, which stems from the Japanese language, alludes to excellence, braveness and superiority as well as leisure and gentleness – a poetic description of all that this dining establishment embodies. Daily scheduled flights arrive at the Cape Town International Airport from Cape Town, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Durban and internationally. From there, a road transfer can be arranged to The Onyx hotel in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The duration of the drive is 20 minutes (distance 20km).

CHILD POLICY
Children of all ages are welcome and no child rates apply as accommodation is charged per apartment, per night. Cots are available for children up to the age of two and extra beds can be requested at an additional charge. Persons 16+ years are considered as adults and will require their own apartment at the applicable rate. Child-minding services are also available at an additional cost and 24-hour notice is required.
