FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF ITCHINESS OR DRY SKIN
There is no reason to worry. You may experience itchiness or dry skin during the first days after the procedure. This is part of the healing process. In that case, you may repeat the washing or simply spray with the saline solution.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE I FEEL NUMBNESS
Do not worry if you feel numbness. It is a common symptom after the use of local anaesthesia. It will last for a few days or weeks in some cases and you don’t need to take any medication.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF NOTICEABLE SWELLING
You may experience swelling between days 2 and 7 post-operatively. Swelling can start from the hairline and move to the forehead and end up to the area around the eyes and nose. This is nothing to worry about as it goes down after a few days. Be persistent in taking your medication. Gentle massage to the swollen forehead can help reduce the swelling. Try not to lean over for the first 3-4 days as this might effect the swelling as well.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF PAIN
In case you feel pain, you can take painkillers like Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Paracetamol/Codeine (Co-codamol). If the pain is intense and doesn’t go away with painkillers, please call the clinic for further advice.
