MSD ready for Day 1

FREMONT — The Fremont Schools Music Department will have a benefit car wash-a-thon Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Angola’s Tractor Supply Co., 1807 N. Wayne St. The department also will sell hotdogs. The car wash is free, but donations will be taken, said Betsy Fowler with the music department.

Sign violation help encouraged ANGOLA — Angola Councilman Gary Crum, who is also helping with sign ordinance enforcement, gave a reminder to residents. He said the city is asking residents not to place signs — especially for garage sales — on telephone poles or in the right-of-way. Not only are both safety hazards, he said, but also clutter up the landscape.
