With the outbreak of COVID, as the spread increased and more information about the virus was uncovered, the central government of India announced several policy decisions to contain it. The India's government orders related to additional food grain support through PDS, income supports, measures on health emergencies, education related orders issued by different department during the pandemic period was documented into a handbook. This also includes different guidelines issued by state and central governments in terms of cash transfers, measures for migrants or stranded workers, care & protection of children in CCIs, child nutrition standard during health crisis etc. The publication also documented practices of different countries to handle the pandemic as well as future policy measures India needs to handle any future outbreaks of pandemic.
