ON SITE COURSES FOR YOUR BUSINESS We realise that training can be costly. Many of the costs are hidden - for instance a candidate on training needs travel expenses and you also have to account for the lost time at the parts counter or in the office. Kramp Academy training is designed to be both cost effective and practical, aimed at reducing these hidden costs. To further improve this every course offered is now available as a on site course. This means they can be delivered to order.

BOOKING AN ON SITE COURSE? There are two ways a Kramp on site course can be delivered;

If you have 5 or more employees from your business that you would like to attend a bespoke course then simply send a request to your Account Manager or Kramp Academy and they will contact you to find a training solution. Each bespoke course has price breaks on the number of people required for a course.

With other businesses

If you don’t have 5 people or more, but would still like your employees to take part in the training then please contact your Account Manager or the Kramp Academy. They will be able to find other like-minded businesses in the area and the marketing team will arrange for a training session located at the Kramp UK Sales and Distribution Centre

KRAMP ACADEMY TESTIMONIALS DEALER: RIPON FARM SERVICES COURSE: MICROSOFT POWERPOINT Ripon Farm Services held bespoke Microsoft Powerpoint training at their Ripon depot in June 2017. RFS chose Powerpoint as many staff required training on Microsoft software and as a result knowledge could be improved. In day to day job roles most members of staff are expected to communicate information, for the aftersales department this can include presenting facts, figures and news to a team of people. For this reason Powerpoint training was arranged to provide the RFS Parts Managers with the skill to communicate across the company in a more professional manner. Choosing on site was the best decision for RFS as it provided more control over the speed the content was delivered and it was easier to adapt the course to suit even the lowest knowledge levels meaning that all course participants gained. The fact the course was delivered on site meant training was very cost effective, staff did not have far to travel and there were no fees for the use of facilities Looking to the future Ripon Farm Services have stated that on site Kramp Academy courses would be the first choice every time. More flexibility, lower costs, happier staff.

KRAMP ACADEMY TESTIMONIALS DEALER: RUSSELLS GROUP COURSE: HYDRAULICS The Russells Group, established in Yorkshire in1921, have always been proud to offer a complete service to their customers. Through working in partnership with Kramp they recently invested in training to maintain and improve on their already high standards. Created by dealers, for dealers, Kramp Academy offers exceptional technical and commercial training at a cost effective price. The hydraulic – hoses, swaging and fittings identification course covers how to swage safely and also easy ways to identify the main types of hydraulic fittings used in agriculture. “We were really interested in the bespoke training Kramp could provide” Group Parts Manager Chris Morley told us. “The training was completed at our Malton depot at a time convenient to our business and the training provided was market leading. The feedback from staff was very high.”

B&B TRACTORS PROVIDE HYDRAULICS TRAINING FOR STRAWSONS FARMS B&B Tractors, supported by Kramp Academy, provided expert hydraulics training for staff from Strawsons Farms – the Lincolnshire based farming group. The training covered hoses, fittings and how to swage safely plus identification on difficult but common fittings. Andrew Walker, Group Aftersales Manager for B&B tractors said: “We were really delighted that Strawsons chose our business for hydraulics training. Thanks to the Kramp Academy, we were able to increase their knowledge and safety awareness and support an important customer.” Antony Cowpe from Strawson Ltd, told us: “We were so impressed with the trainer’s expertise and his ability to train us on a difficult subject. We are now confident that we can order the right parts from B&B Tractors online service.”

RIPON FARM SERVICES COMPLETE BESPOKE PLOUGHING COURSE ‘The Kramp ploughing course was held at our main depot at the end of January. We had quite a few members of staff who we believed would find this course beneficial so it made sense for us to host the training at our depot rather than sending 10 members of staff over to Askham Bryan College. It was really easy to organise, I sent over a list of staff who were to attend, the address of where it was to be held and agreed a date that suited us. On the day the trainer arrived with lots of tools and equipment for us to look at whilst the course took place. With the course being at our main depot we also had access to ploughs in the yard, new and used, so the course was tailored around these. Being able to look around the equipment whilst the trainer explained the breakdown of it gave us a much better understanding than if we were just taught from a book or a PowerPoint alone.’ Jade Farnell, Parts Manager.

DEALER: R HUNT LTD COURSE: EXCEL TRAINING FOR BUSINESS We contacted Kramp Academy to help us to improve the level of understanding surrounding Excel in our company. Our dealer business system allows you to export to Excel to allow further manipulation of data, but this was not an area that many staff members felt confident in. We arranged for a days introductory training followed by intermediate the next day, to be held at our head office which offered flexibility and saved on travel costs. The course was well structured and executed with training packs to take home and a copy of the test files each which were used during the training. Since the course I have seen many members of staff putting their new found knowledge to the test, creating basic tables for quotes (which would not have previously been considered), or even utilising pivot tables! Thank you to Kramp for making the booking so easy - we even have a few considering the advanced course!
