The design of the new Art Center in Sofia CI is based upon a sensitive approach to the context and the co-existence between heritage and the new. Art is perpetually young , but invigorated by the past. The industrial building and its surroundings are preserved along with the surrounding area including building heights, terrain levels, signs and graffiti art. The main concept gestures are adding a new body on top of the existing one, illuminating it during the night. The public functions will also be extended from the bottom to the top of building one. The visitor can experience the touch of all the art spaces while participating in the social activities concentrated in the core of the entry space. On top of the building there are views to the park and the surroundings. Artists, visitors, the public, space and nature co-inhabit in a way that stimulates creativity and fellowship. The grand hall, small hall and exhibition space surround the public entry space. The ground floor event areas breath in and expand to the outdoors in the park during the hot seasons, breathe out and adjust their volume during the winter - dancing in a natural rhythm together with the environment. The performance and exhibition spaces are adaptable for a wide range of activities sustaining the flexible character of the CI. The artists’ zone is a secluded introvert space permeated with numerous natural gardens. Work, creating, recreation and living functions are organized one after another in a sequence of experiences interrupted by natural pockets. In order to make the building a genuinely public attraction, an essential part of the design is to provide an appealing mix of urban uses open to the public and integrating the building into the surrounding park.

Дизайнът на Центъра за Изкуство се базира на внимателен подход към контекста и темата за съжителство между ново и съществуващо. Изкуството е винаги нещо ново, но вдъхновено от миналото. Индустриалната сграда се запазва с нейната структура, терен и характерните графити и символи. Изграждане на ново тяло, допълващо съществуващата сграда 1, осветяването му и разстилането на общественият достъп от терена към покрива на сградата е пространствено-обемното действие в основа на идеята. Обществените функции се разстилат по протежението на входната зона в сграда 1. Посетителят може да се докосне до всички функции и да контактува със социалните дейности концентрирани в ядрото на входната зона. Преживяването ескалира до връхната точка на сградата, където е осъществена визуална връзка с парка и околната среда. Артисти, посетители, общественост, пространство и природа съжителстват с творчеството и хармония. Голямата зала, изложбената зала и камерната зала обгръщат входното пространство. Тези на партерно ниво се разтварят вдишват и се разгръщат навън към парка през топлите сезони, издишват и се връщат в обема на сградата през зимата - танцувайки в естествен ритъм с околната среда. Залите са адаптивни за разнообразни активности, поддържайки гъвкавия характер на ЦИ. Зоната за артисти е уединено, интровертно пространство разтворено с обеми от естествени, зелени градини. Функциите на работа, творчество, почивка и обитаване са организирани една след друга в поредица от преживявания прекъснати от ‘кътове природа’. За да направи сградата притегателен център, основна задача на дизайна е да осигури приятна комбинация от градски пространства отворени за посетители и интегриращи парка и ЦИ.

ENTERTAINING PAVILION Expo Milano.Piacenza Italy

The project of the pavilion is a concept for a temporary building hosting the visitors of Piacenza during Expo Milano 2015. The structure is an wooden platform uplifted above the ground where more than 2000 visitors daily are expected. Wooden boxes serve as separated enclosures with particular info zones. The rooftop of the structure is available for walking tours and works as a sun lounge space.Some of the info boxes are walkable or accessible trough inner staircases. Our proposal is the winning project developed during an international design workhop in the Architectural Campus of Politecnico Di Milano. It was exhibited in space designed by our team. entrance space

responsibilities

My part was to develop the concept and design a cardboard and a sketch up 3d models. When de concept was defined I continued with work on the 2d/3d drawings for the final presentation, using mainly AutoCAD , Illustrator and Photoshop. At the end I was contributing with the exhibition files and curation, communicating with the curation team and the team members in order to deliver the final presentation.

.Flying Hotel Box Global Network about FHB is a competition for an alternative design for hotels

There was a carpenter in Copenhagen, who proposed his neighbour to build a small house in his backyard, at the price of 200.000kr. He was going to build it and pay the price. The only thing required in return, was that his daughter would be allowed to live in the house for 5 years, during her university education. After that, the house would remain at the ownership and backyard of his neighbours. Flying Hotel Box FHB is a global network of sleeping boxes using available spaces in a city or all over the planet, where the law allows the box to be placed. The box is a prefabricated living space. There is a customer service, web department and maintenance system that keep the FHB always in shape, ready for sleeping and living.

It is a worldwide connected sleepign spaces shared busi- ness. FHB can be purchased by an Investor at price S,M,L,XL,XXL. The payment could be done on leasing by a monthly payment or at once . A FHB consists of 52 liveable weeks. Each week can be sold, rented or exchanged globally by the investor, the traveller or the guest.

.Public Hub.Manhattan.Thesis Project Meditation Hub is a multi-purpose building structure located in Midtown Manhattan integrating urban inhabitat with green plantation spaces, parks and gardens in order to create a CO2 neutral living environment and new urban typologies of biodiversity integration.
