In various workshop spaces the visitors could learn and be tought meditative techniques practiced and preserved in meditation schools around the world. The lightmotive is the connection between architecture and nature and their positive integration - flora founa architecture. The unity between human and nature is restored in the domain of the museum in a way that every working, visiting, leisuring, eating place is having immediate contact with a forest, flower garde, oxygen producers. This is achieved in design terms by placing trees, bushes, plants and flowers in every functional unit. Each 5 people will have a private garden with trees, fruits and vegetables, flowers and bushes. There is a space for the Third Landscape(Giles Clement). A new concept of education - giving space for games. playing while studying in environment unified with nature and processes that can be experienced only in a whild forest where no human activity is present. The purpose of the Hub is to give space to practitioners - space for meditation , relaxation , rejuvenation. It is a place opened for the public and everybody regardless to religion, age, race, political views, economical and educational status.Certainly there will be places with limited access, dedicated to exhibitions, workshops, guided practices, events and activities, however more than 10% of the spaces will be with unlimited access. The Design of The Multicultural Hub of New York CIty aim is to create a new institution of cultural and historical importance related to the foundation purpose of creating a stress free society trough encouraging and teaching and experiencing of meditation and yoga practices. With architectural and design means the goal of this project is to reach the public by opening space in the hectic urban environment where each individual could experience a pieceful and harmonious time with his own mind and creativity. 2

GOSAN PUBLIC LIBRARY
north perspective
Daegu, South Korea The library is a playful urban object hovering above the ground level. This lifting allows to increase the light which enters in the spaces of the library to open a wide visual connection and to minimize the impact of the new building. The architecture is composed of a white reinforced concrete structural shell, which wraps the two glass volumes of collections and multi-purpose spaces. The share of access is to place it seven meters above the ground and is connected with the ground trough escalator.
