Happy Thanksgiving As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. ~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Santa will be visiting the Cypress Mill Park Community on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Remember... he knows when you’ve been good or bad so be good for goodness sake! The December Holiday Party will be held on Saturday, December 10th in the Community Rec Center. The Community Event kicks off at 9 am with Suzzala the Head Elf. Children can select a festive face painting design, decorate a tree ornament and be entertained by a balloon artist. While you wait for Santa to arrive, shop by the holiday vendor fair for a shopping extravaganza. The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department will also be on site offering fire truck tours. Santa arrives at 10 am - remember to bring your camera to capture your family holiday photo. Please remember, children must have a parent or guardian accompanying them. The holiday festivities will end before Noon. If you are community resident interested in volunteering or participating in the holiday vendor fair, please contact Jacqui Williams (holiday party coordinator) at 832-692-2203.
Leash Law
Please be respectful of your neighbors and their property and do not let your dog run loose in the neighborhood. There have been several instances recently in Cypress Mill of dogs charging other dogs that were being walked on a leash and also causing distress to walkers. Make sure your fences are secure and replace any loose boards so that your dog cannot accidently escape. Remember … it is against the law in Harris County to let your dog run loose and Harris County Animal Control will respond to requests to pick up dogs that are causing a nuisance.
What’s happening in Cypress Mill?
Do you want to know what’s happening in your neighborhood without waiting for the Messenger? If so, please let your block captain have your email address so that they can keep you informed of current news and events. The block captains are all listed in the Cypress Mill Messenger with either their phone number and/or email address. If your street does not have a block captain, think about volunteering…. it’s a great way to get to know your neighbors and be one step ahead of the news. Contact Robert
