Villages of Sundown Glen

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

Sundown Glen held National Night Out on Tuesday October 4th. The businesses that donated prizes were Big Daddy’s BBQ, Chick-fil-A, S.J. Air Conditioning and Heating, Simply Splendid Donuts and Kolaches, Texas Borders Bar & Grill, 3 Salsas Mexican Restaurant and Cantina. Remember to thank those who donated and supported our subdivision. We would like to thank the following volunteers who helped; Linda B, Jackie G, Kimmy G, Xylah G, Dan H, Janelle H, Pat H, Katie K, Gloria R and especially Scott (a teenager) who came and just pitched in and helped with cleanup.

ANNUAL BOARD MEETING

The annual Board meeting was held on October 17th. There were three people elected to the Board of Directors. Katie Kriesel and Robert Wilson were re-elected. Diane Parker was elected also. Welcome Diane. The HOA Board kept dues the same for 2012. Thank you as everything else is going up. At the meeting there were several good ideas brought before the board. A big thank you goes out for all who attended. We would like to thank Gloria Rios for her 4 year service on the Board.

YARD of the MONTH

The Alvarado family at 2931 Fort Stockton Drive were the winners for October Yard of the Month. The sign is placed in the yard for a month and the winner receives a gift card in appreciation for keeping their yard in great shape.

SENIOR SOCIAL GROUP

The Senior Social will not meet in December but will get back to our regular schedule after the first of the year. Happy Holidays! If you have any questions regarding this event please contact Pat Hillen 281-578-6881.

CLUBHOUSE RENTALS

Rentals are done by contacting Pat Hillen at 281-578-6881. Fees are $75 for a 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM event and $150 for a 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM event on a first come, first served basis. The security deposit is $300. The clubhouse holds 98 people, has 4 six foot tables, 4 eight foot tables and 48 chairs. Hand soap, hand towels, toilet paper and a trash can liner for each trashcan is provided. The clubhouse has a kitchen with refrigerator, stove and microwave oven, men’s and women’s restroom with a diaper changing table. Resident must be current on all dues to rent the clubhouse. Resident must be present at clubhouse at all times during their event. No alcohol of any type is allowed in the clubhouse. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
